Pretty much the entirety of Parappa's story in that game makes very little sense. ...That is, compared to Lammy's story, which doesn't make a fat lot of sense in itself...
It would be nice to promote the series in any way possible.
Chuggaa does it too. Mostly with 'JAPAAAAAAN!', but with other words, too.
And also, I'm reminded of a quote from one of Parappa's stages in Um Jammer Lammy:
----------
Bi-polar pilot: I miss my train...
Parappa: You miss your train?..
Bi-polar pilot: I miss my brain...
Parappa: Can I help you?!
----------
OH OKAYZ. Well, I shall post, then bed.
Also, what now in TEEG? I'm not sure where the light in question is, so I don't know whether it's meant to hurt the guards or just distract them, and if so, where they're being distracted to, if you see my meaning.
Of course, nothing's changed insofar as my brain refuses to let me read 'Hundred Crack Fist' without laughing at the utterly shameful innuendo therein.
It's quite alright; I get in a similar way when talking about Eurovision, so great is my knowledge of it-- especially for someone of my age and nationality.
(Of course, as you know, such knowledge means I have even more extensive knowledge of the MSC, since it's all of the ESC, supplemented with Neptuniverse stuff supplied by me.)
The long and short of it is, if you were to give me a country and a year, I could most likely name the song and/or the artist, say which language the song was in, describe the country's flag and, in some cases, say whether or not it advanced to the Grand Final, and, in a few rare cases, say which position it took overall, either in the semi-finals or in the final. And in, I think, four cases, I can tell how many points a song received in either the semis or the final. Now which one of us looks like a nerd?
Indeed. It'd be kind of funny to write, but it would feel kind of empty and somewhat of a waste of time. ...Not that I'd object to it for pure lulz-value, but still.
