  • 7) In honesty, I've actually wanted to have Ashura as a character in the Neptune Universe, but I've never really had any idea how to include him. If you give me an idea of how the series will work in terms of what actually happens, 'gameplay'-wise, maybe I could suggest some things.
    7) That's what I was kind of afraid of. I'd love to help, but I don't know what I can do.
    7) YARLY. And I think that's all the help I can give on the new series for the moment.

    YARLY. Such fun.
6.5) If only because you view Maddy as at least a mildly important character. And now there's the unaddressed matter of the slash.

    7) Ah. Right. Derp. This is more your department, considering you wanted it to be like JBF in terms of what it's based on.

Unrelated: It's just occurred to me how much the song Wings (by Little Mix) reminds me of Kurow from Okamiden.
6.5) ...And I just shed a figurative tear of joy at that last bit.

    7) ...Um...what else needs establishing?
    6) Sounds excellent, especially since Sid, Rob, Les and Dawn all have character to them already, but have had minimal 'screentime'. Sidney does get a bit of a role in MoL, but it's still classed as a minor role. Oh, well.

6.5) What now in ADW? (Also when C-x-C?)
    5.5) Ah, okay.

    6) Random question that kind of pertains to the characters: in situations where the Palace Town is concerned, I'd like to think that, as far as cameos (or even characters proper) go, the focus would be on Midnight's lesser-seen brothers. In other words, if there's to be a Prower family cameo, I'd want it to be of Rob, Sid and/or Leslie. I'd add Dawn to that list, but she lives and works in Bistra Voda as a radio DJ. If that becomes relevant, so be it. The question associated with all of that is: is the above agreeable?
    5) Ah. That explains it.
5.5) Oh, right. What kinds of crimes do they commit, then? Stealing components for something much bigger? Fraud? Monetary heists?
    4) YARLY.

    5) I'm just saying, and actually, I have no idea who Dr. Finitevus is, so I don't know why he can't exist. Kindly elaborate.
5.5) 'Seen as regular citizens'? Like how?
    4) That will become a thing. A regular thing, to add to our arsenal of catchphrases.

    5) Fair enough. I agree with the principle, but I'm a bit hesitant about the choice of character.
5.5) The regular criminals...How are they involved in the organisation? Willingly, by force, or a combination? And what are their crimes? Petty? Significant? Conducive to a bigger scheme?
    4) *highly enthusiastic but also high-pitched and muffled "WOOHOO!!"*, hereinafter simply referred to as *Kenny*, as opposed to *Mikau* or *???*.

    5) ...To clarify, how the antagonist situation is going to be, in your own words, if you please. ...And even if you don't.
    4) *Kenny upon realising his girlfriend is a whore*

    5) Who/What are the antagonists, or what, if not antagonists, cause the series to take place? More's the point, are there to be recurring antagonists (aside from, I assume, the one leading the series arc), or just a bunch of regular criminals, like Clint?
    3) Okay. That works.

    4) That's a lot of a stretch, and I'd kind of rather leave her to you anyway.
Something of equal stretchèdness: since Lucian doesn't have much of a character, he could just be one of Daz's 'crew', as't'were. Bonus points if he leads a double-life to avoid his father's wrath.
(Neptune Zaragoza works in January City, by the way. It was hinted at in Mid-Night Terrors, but I was kinda vague about it. Ignore this information if it's of no use soever.)
    1) Of course I am. *smugness level: Snivy*

    2) We'll might indeed.

    3) Basically, itinerant vigilanteïsm? That would work perfectly with his character. So, basically, the setting is decided by whatever is to occur in that chapter, though each chapter is not restricted to one location?

    4) Recurring characters; a critical component. You've already confirmed Lucian and Zaragoza, as well as Cairne and Baggue, and it's a given that Daz will be involved. I assume Fang will be there, too. The only issue is that I'd need a character who's always with Daz, where the action is, otherwise most of it will just be you posting by yourself, and that won't work.
    1) How is that possible? If it's one continuous story, it wouldn't make too much sense to start with chapter 2, then read 7, 8 and 9, then 4, then 1, then...you get the idea.

    2) So chapters, then? In that case, are we going with a base naming convention like "<<Insert title here>>: Chapter 1/2/3/etc.", without actual titles?

    3) The setting needs establishing. Based on Daz's appearance in the main series, he seems to stick to large, technological cities like Bistra Voda and January City. In terms of other Blazian settlements, he would seem accustomed to Crimston, but not so much to Fernberg or Luxenbelle. As for the Palace Town...as ITS proved, he seems to only go there if it's worth the money. Thoughts?
Indeed. Let's start with the vague, and pull into focus as more details become apparent.

    1) Is there going to be a major story arc, or several individual episodes that, save for a few back-references, could ostensibly be read in any order?
    2) Is it going to be split into distinct episodes, or just into single parts of one large story that begins with the series and does not end until the series itself does? (In the latter case, it would be more like chapters of a novel, for want of a better analogy.)
    OH OKAYZ.

And kindly excuse my delays. I'm making notes for my English class about the Rules of Realisation in child language, and I'm feeling smart because of all the fancy words and symbols I get to use in doing so.
