The hiragana ふ is transcribed in Romaji as 'fu', but it's pronounced more like 'fhu' (as in applying both an 'f' sound and an 'h' sound at the same time while blowing), rather than an actual tangible 'ffffu' sound, so, to the Japanese, ふふふ sounds equivalent to 'hahaha', but to us, it reads as 'fufufu'. Basically, it got lost in translation.
Remind me thereof. I watched an LP of the 360 version of Generations once, and that was ages ago. I've only played the cheap, crappily-made 3DS version, which, as you know, has a completely different boss in its place.
...And I just remembered: today, I found out why, in Gens III and IV, at least, when the bad guys in pokémon games laugh, they're all like 'fufufufufu' instead of actually laughing.
I thought you might say that. Still, as if you actually care, to be more specific about the former, I happened to imagine Rouge/Carol as Cheryl Baker, Wes/Leonel as Mike Nolan, Lucas as Bobby G and Jade as Jay Aston. Such fun.
In other news, I've recently let my mind wander while listening to music, and my brain has thrown up the two following images:
1) Wes, Jade, Lucas and Rouge performing Making Your Mind Up, with ESC 1981 as the background, and in the same outfits that Bucks Fizz used in same contest.
2) The Guys and your avatar, as seen in the Hallowe'en thing, performing Gangnam Style, with That Guy doing the main body of the lyrics, in Korean, and all three of them in sunglasses and bowties, doing the dance.
I dunno. We established the setting and the premise, so I guess all that needs to be done to set things up is have Christian find himself in the hotel, unsure of how or when he got there (but not particularly questioning same), and have him wander around a little, establishing that there doesn't seem to be anyone around. Cue Cairne to enter, and let's say that that'll happen in the foyer, where Christian was seen in RS.
Once the thing gets going proper, since it's a dream, we essentially have godpower over what happens, both between them, and physically in the area around them.
Also, since it's only a dream, it could technically be canon.
...Actually, this begs a question that I've casually wondered on and off for a while-- and it's just a 'what if..?' question, so don't get any ideas!!-- but if we actually lived in the same town, within walking-distance of one another, would we actually be dating?
