1. ...but names for places would help immensely.
2. If you so wanted. Of course, part of the key to success in this type of RP is that nobody is restricted to just one character.
3. Yeah. But there's no problem if Grit agrees to it.
1. I guess we'd start off in some place in the forest, but near the coast.
2. If you so wanted, your character could be a long-time friend of his (or hers, I guess, if that's how you'd do it) and act as their voice, or something.
3. Brixius got permabanned.
...But we're getting sidetracked here. I guess the main thing that remains is to wholly establish the location, and our own characters (and their personal details, etc.), as well as get Grit on board. Failing that, someone else who'd want in on this.
Dimitri - Harman and Henrike's child - euthanised by Theodore
Sven - fell a fair distance and broke his back, then died of his injuries
Fae - Sven's girlfriend - later on, fell in the same place Sven did and was put to sleep by a human doctor
Narcissus - random guy from RI3 - crushed to death by a boulder to prevent him from evolving
Herschel, come to think of it - one of the minor antagonists from 24OC - mauled to death by 24OC Fae.
No mysteries there.
...Was there really that much to investigate in the ways Dimitri, Sven, Sven's-girlfriend-whose-name-escapes-me or Narcissus died?
Also birth can happen. Not directly, but, since it's pokémon, through the medium of eggs. Or pregnancy, I guess. It worked for the Crajgs and the McGintleys...if I spelled that right.
Fair enough, though I think we should agree on said plot first.
Actually, it's more of an absence of pre-planned plot; that's what made RI work; a small group of characters in a large but confined space and the ability to continue living was all it took for a story to grow. So the bare bones of what I'm saying is:
-No meticulously-planned story to begin with. Once it starts, we can just see where it goes.
-As with BaP(+2), RI(+2&3) and 24OC, though there remains a central cast of about three or four characters, other characters can come and go, and replace one another in the central cast if necessary.
-Death happens. There's no denying it.
-The setting, I'd imagine, would be some kind of island. That worked before. The island I'm thinking of would have, at the very least, some kind of forest, at least one beach close to said forest, a snowy mountain (like Sven's home island in RI, except just a mountain) and a swamp (like what said island became in RI3).
-Human characters would be kept to a minimum.
-With that in mind, I'm assuming that this was to be a pokémon RP, so that means almost all of the characters would be pokémon, and those that aren't would be humans.
-The RP focuses on the central cast as delegated above, and all RPers participating have a character in that group. No cutting away to other characters elsewhere; that makes it hard to follow.
-The central characters (at least at first) don't have to know each other or even like each other, but for whatever reason, they are a group, if only because they live within close proximity to one another.
...Apology accepted. I was rather tetchy myself, though; I get like that when I'm tired. And I think asking Grit would be an excellent idea. We're back on form, all of a sudden!
So which one of us will ask, and exactly what is to be asked?
Clearly, trying to talk to you right now is a waste of time, so I'll just be going to bed.
...Then again, given how often you say 'ORLY' without adding anything constructive to the conversation and how often we go through the motions of our same little quirks and catchphrases over and over again, is there any purpose to any of our discussions? Is there even any point in me trying to hold a normal conversation anymore? It's frustrating, to say the least. But that, like all my problems, doesn't matter to you in the slightest.
I'm not ranting. I'm not raging. I'm not trying to start an argument. But I am tired and irritable, and I am frustrated. For that reason, I'm going to just go and get some sleep for once.
In all honesty, running it as a PRP between the two of us would be not only a risky venture, but a last resort. With that in mind, though, I'd be more willing to run it if we found one or two (I think maybe just the one) other people who, like us, have RP'ing down to a fine art and would be willing to do this as a 3-person PRP. ...But not Abba. JAR was proof that he can't really be trusted all that much to keep his attention.
Thoughts? And if you say ORLY to this, I swear, I'll do something violent on the same level as Middy when a man he finds attractive tries to turn him down.
I was actually thinking something along those lines. However, I'm incredibly hesitant to run another RP with you (or, at the very, very least, with you alone), since it could easily be a detriment to ADW and subsequent instalments, if your track record is anything to go by. And TL, TEM and IYF all seem to suggest that I'd be right to be concerned.
That said, I do have a fairly coherent idea of what said RP could entail. However, my instinct was to open it up as a normal sign-up-start-up RP instead of a private one, but still with only three to five RPers.
