And back to that old derpquestion again: how to introduce Shadow. I mean, what, is he going to threaten her or something?
I guess so, unless there's anything else that needs adding to HiD, like some kind of conclusion or whatever.
    *Mikau*

I'd imagined that either Whitney or all of Team Fireburst are going through one of the temples, as they do (in my first thoughts, 'twas the Ice Temple, since that's where Wes met Shadow), and they come across an arena-shaped room, then Shadow appears, as if to be a mini-boss, but then reconsiders, and disappears, spiriting Whitney away with him, deciding that she's actually pretty attractive, despite being Wes' OSC.
    WHAT THE F:boom:

So...Should I just keep my idea for Whitney-X-Shadow to myself, then?
(Also, just now, a slight premise for a Sahel-X-Beat slash randomly popped into my head.)
While HiD is beginning to end, I've come up with a kind of semi-plot idea for Whitney-X-Shadow.
Fun fact: Originally, I'd planned This Guy's mother to still be alive at the end of JAR, but then I decided that that would just make the ending too perfect, so she got the epic №, and it ended the way it did.

And, unless you particularly object, I've come to refer to this 'fic as 'Hayfever In December', since that (that and the glasses, anyway) are what started the whole thing.
...Though technically, This Guy was taught to believe said philosophy by his father, but whatevs.
    ...ME GUSTA.

Good for him, I guess. Nice to see him indirectly taking a leaf out of This Guy's philosophy.
