Okay. I shall do so by the medium of knocking on the door of his house, in the same way TEE started. DEEEEEEERP. Or, as chuggaa said in his Super Luigi Galaxy LP, "I suck!"
I know. I'm just pointing out why it's easier for me to conceptualise one rather than the other. In any case, we have a basic idea of what's going on, so where do we go from here?
Not really; it just came to mind much more easily, especially given your mention of the glasses earlier. I could quite easily imagine Wes spontaneously revealing that he needs to wear glasses, and this having some kind of effect on Midnight. It's slightly more difficult to come up with a story for Whitney (who is a lesser-seen character) and Shadow (who's dead), since they have never, thus far, interacted. Also, I can get into Midnight's mind much more easily than Shadow's, relatively speaking.
Officially, Cyril isn't gay anyway; he's just the Sensitive Guy to Raku's Manly Man. He even goes on to marry and continue his family line by, as most TEE characters seem to do, having one son and one daughter.
And while I'm thinking, I'd like to point out- and this is relevant solely for about two or three lines of dialogue in PiC- that Cyril is credited for the invention of homosexuality, even though there is no evidence to suggest that he was gay. The only thing giving that assumption credit is that, following the war, he was noted in ancient scriptures as being an 'exceptionally tolerant citizen who would decline [platonic] love to nobody, despite the aggression Hazaeia had been faced with'. This may, however, end up being a springboard for a Cyril-X-Raku slashfic.
Yes, Midnight. Because the setting that sprang to mind was Wes' house, circa some time between BTEE and TEE. Also, what with it being Midnight, not only would it be true ProloShipping, but it also allows for a slight extra depth of character, whereas, if it were Middy, the attraction involved would be more immediate and obvious. With Midnight, it's a little more complex, and makes for better reading IMO.
So...a story. I got nothin'. Shouldn't coming up with the story here be all you, since Shadow and Whitney are both Inferno characters? Because I consider Inferno/Neptune the supercategory and Inverno-verse/Fireburst-verse/Neptune-verse/Poseidon-verse subcategories.
While I'm spewing out spoilers, they'd have been named Hic and Ille (Latin for 'this' and 'that'; they can be poetically translated as 'this/that man' or, colloquially, 'this/that guy'), and would have taken the role of Plutarch from Catching Fire and Mockingjay.
With that planned, what next in our formula of preparation?
And before I forget to mention this, this would be a spoiler, but I guess it doesn't really matter anymore; The Guys were going to appear as major characters in IYF, if they'd been given the chance.
Uh, yeah. Derp. Are you genuinely proposing that we collaborate, by email, on random TEE slashfics? Because I kind of approve of the idea. But that's just me and my inner craziness.
As if you hadn't already thought of that punchline at least once by now.
