  • I forget which LP it was, but there was one point where he exclaimed, in Angrish, and as the post-commentary visuals subtitled:

    ----------
    FOR THE LOVE OF...ELL...*beat* ...PEE!
    ----------
...At least, I'm pretty sure that was chuggaa.
The only thing that's better than Angrish in an LP is when the LPer puts the 'words' they're saying on-screen in the sarcastic, post-commentary fashion. I know chuggaa did that at one point in Hana Valley. You don't need me to tell you that that's Okami.
True; so, so true. Because people are hardwired to believe that straight is the 'default' orientation, and believing otherwise is pretty hard for them to get their heads around. So yeah, you're lucky that you don't need to worry about that. And what's funny is, like I said- I dated a guy. Romantically. And my parents didn't even notice. They just thought we were 'good friends'. They genuinely thought that. They still, now, think that that's what it was. And all because of said hardwiring. What doesn't help is that my father has a lesbian cousin- who is 100% lesbian, and my mother has some relative that we're in contact with who's 100% gay. So having no bi relatives only enforces their beliefs that bisexuality is not a thing.

On the matter of the MQ Bottom Of The Well-- well, I suppose it's like coming out. Both are unbelievably hard. And both make the Shadow Temple- even in Master Quest- look like child's play.
I know. But I live with it by hiding it. ...which can't be healthy, but it's easier than coming out. Man, you straight guys have it easy...

YARLY. Have you ever faced MQ's Bottom Of The Well?
Sometimes, I think that. I mean, certainly, my mother holds a very black-and-white view about sexuality. In her eyes, you're either straight or gay; there's no in-between. Furthermore, to her, 'bisexual' means 'hermaphrodite'...And my father just holds the classic 'Bi = Anything That Moves/desperate and depraved' view. But I shouldn't be burdening you with my problems.

YARLY. And I recently got back into playing MQ3D. I've completed it, apart from beating Ganon, since I can't be bothered, and I've been focusing on getting all of the Gold Skulltulas. So I had to go back into the most horrible dungeon known to man. The Master Quest Bottom Of The Well. It's still hell, even after you beat it- of that, you can be sure. It's the hardest modern Zelda dungeon I've ever faced. I say 'modern Zelda', because Zelda and Zelda 2 = OMGWTFBBQ Nintendo Hard in places.
    YARLY.
Incidentally, just by way of an introspective glance, I've actually been acting kind of relatively gayer than usual, and my parents still don't question it. *le sigh* Parents...

Likewise. And when I first encountered that dungeon at all, bearing in mind I was, like, 5 years old at the time, my reaction was this, then this, in rapid succession. And I didn't actually try the dungeon until five years later. FIVE. FREAKING. YEARS. LATER.
...Though being at 4.5 or so, that doesn't really bother me too much.

Speaking of, I kind of like the Cow Switches in MQ Jabu-Jabu's Belly. But they're freaky if you're not expecting them. Also they're living Moon Logic Puzzles.
...and bonus Hooray Points for that one person being a guy, meaning that my Kinsey History Rating is stuck at 6 until I date at least one girl!

And you know what's nice? Even in OoT3D and MQ3D, they left in the glitch that lets Adult Link just walk right into Jabu-Jabu's Belly. Nice one, Nintendo. J'approve.
Yay for inconsistency! Come to think of it, that's true of all of the temples except the Wind Temple (apart from that one time it turned into Lanayru Mining Facility, but hey, we've still got that to come in ADW.)
Hooray for having only dated one person in my lifetime so far...

HM I SEE. IIRC, the Master Quest version actually has an extra room at the beginning.
Incidentally, though, has the Ice Temple (or the Water Temple, for that matter), in the Inferno-verse, ever had a consistent layout?
Give it time, though, and I'm sure my history rating will even out to around 4.5, if I may be so bold as to shift the subject back to me, since, unless I'm mistaken, we've said all that's to be said about you on this matter.
Stupid Sexy Flanders? Who was your Flanders?
On TV Tropes, it says that being subjected to Stupid Sexy Flanders moments does not affect your 'sexuality-rating', or words to that effect.
It can also be used for how someone identifies their orientation, and using 0 to 6, and X for asexuality.
(The difference between the two is that if it's describing one's history, that makes me a 6, but I identify myself as a 4, closer to 4.5.)

    So:
X: Leslie, though it seems like a cop-out. He does marry, but he's kind of technically asexual.
0: El, though he's kind of forced to. Also Jonah.
    1: Luke, technically.
2: Rex. There, I said it.
3: This Guy and That Guy
4: Bean, I guess-- and I controlled him originally.
    5: Midnight. Yay.
6: Middy, for male-on-male, and Sahel for female-on-female.
Lovely-- as I'm sure Carl is imagining right now.

Well, now, this does change matters. I assume you're already familiar with how the scale works-- and what it is?
    Uh...Les Yay!

So now that kind of pushes my A Character For Every Point On The Kinsey Scale to 101%, which is kind of nice, I guess. Not that you'd care, or you'd have inquired further about the thing by now.
I guess it must be worth it. The only question now is which colour to pick. My initial thought is red, because I wanted a red 3DS. I know the 3DS XL's skin is a different texture entirely, but it would suck having three blue ones, and the black ones are really plain and boring, in my eyes.
Yes, 3. Because, in case I didn't mention, I went and bought a replacement 3DS a few weeks back, to replace the one that got broken on Christmas Day 2011. So now I have the broken one and the working one, and tomorrow, probably, an XL to go with, meaning the only model of DS I've never owned will be a plain, standard-sized DSi.

So are we going with the lesbian thing, or is it just going to be a Developers' In-Joke?
