  • And I was under the impression that the Gender Bender thing only applied to the Hedgehog Mask.
Wait wut. I was just basing it on the idea that Team Gemini would be the ones to get all of the transformation masks.

To that end, the teams' mask rosters should read thusly:
GEMINI: Hawkeye Mask; Hero's Mask; Fox Mask; Crown of Flames; Hedgehog Mask; Echidna Mask
FIREBURST: Verity Mask; Cliff Mask; Fountain Hat; Neptune Mask; Milon's Mask; Kunoichi's Hood
...leaving the Dark Sunglasses and the Fierce Deity Mask as fair use, since they're found on Monnox Island, where both teams are present.
We're going to be alternating between the stories of each team, correct? So that implies that each individual team will only tackle half of the islands. So which team faces which temples?

My assumption thus far is that Team Gemini do the temples of Maco, Valcon, Ciella and Monnox Islands, and Team Fireburst do those of Glacia, Trunca, Casino and Monnox Islands.
Okay. When and how is the scene in which that happens going to take place? Because I'm still under the impression that we're going to keep zig-zagging between Team Gemini's and Team Fireburst's stories. So that could feasibly happen once Team Gemini beat the Forest Temple.

Speaking of, how are the temples going to be divided between the two teams?
YARLY. Especially since it's basically a Professor-Layton-meets-Rhythm-Paradise game.
Also: it's a surprisingly dark game for something Nintendo would allow for one of their consoles. They use the word 'die' without batting an eyelid, and there are several minigames which revolve around rhythmically firing a gun and shooting the bad guys dead where they stand.
Unrelated fun fact: Babylon Garden actually appears in Rhythm Thief & the Emperor's Treasure. And it's not even a cameo; it's a plot point. And they don't even deny that it's Babylon Garden. Nice, subtle move there, SEGA...
    Not Robotina, then?

...And I kind of forgot: her exact demands, and her exact threat?
    HM I SEE.

Question: Is the Maco Island Forest Temple the one that was on Prolo Island until TFC1? For some reason, I got the impression that some of the temples swapped worlds, so when Prolo Island gained Skyview Temple, Maco Island got the old Forest Temple in exchange.
(Also, isn't it kind of an inconsistency that the Wind Temple turned into the Lanayru Mining Facility in TFC1, but by SF, it was the plain old Wind Temple again?)
So, now that ADW is established, when do we get into the gimmicks of the masks and the forthcoming apocalypse?
*le reminder: Maco Island's masks are the Hawkeye Mask and the Hero's Mask*
