TLD is only in the 'fewest pages' part as a placeholder, but it is technically the shortest so far. The reason for that, though, obviously, is that it's incomplete. But TTS being 171 pages? I'd never have guessed.
Well..I actually meant in terms of doing the actual counting of these things, but you have the idea.
The problem with the number of bosses, though, is that there are too many ties for the 'least'-- so many instalments do not have bosses at all. I could do 'number of bosses by universe', but I can go no better than that.
Speaking of universes, and discounting the Storybook worlds and the spin-offs, and including the Fireburst and Poseidon universes as the Inferno and Neptune universes respectively, the Inferno universe has 82 credited characters to the Neptune's 63. Fascinating, no? ...No, AMIRITE?
Okay, that's fine. It was a sudden idea, and you've adapted it as necessary.
*Pops-style "Good show! Jolly good show!"*
Oh, and I've started a page on the wiki called 'Series Records', which should be more self-explanatory than it sounds. It tracks stuff like which instalments have the most/least number of unique locations/characters/etc.. Unless you volunteer to help, I expect this internal project will remain just my territory.
...I had a sudden though: have the doll do something really significant (like, say, successfully attack Otenko with some kind of weapon and have him knocked out, or something), so Leonel and Travis, with the hitherto-under-construction laser sword now complete, go to confront the doll and, with no trouble at all, slice it in half.
Then it becomes semi-gradually clear that whatever had possessed the doll has now possessed Jeane (so the doll, by the time they had reached it, was harmless). Maybe have her run away to a lesser location, like the Light Temple, then have a Puppet Zelda-style boss, then a proper boss with the possessive TT demon, then take Jeane home, and voila; Status Quo Is God (and thus restored), and the ATEE, substantially boosted in length, is completed.
The final, ATEE-ending fight? I would, kind of. Is there absolutely no gimmick we can use to extend it to a decent length? At the very least, can it not be as long as CH (appx. 23 pages)? I don't object to having short ATEEs- after CH (and also TFC2 (though that was justified) and MT), but so far, TLD is a little too short.
The very least we can do is pad it out a little. Perhaps have Travis, Otenko and Leonel try various plans to destroy/dispose of the doll first, before attempting to confront it in some kind of bizarre battle. Maybe use Erich's various methods- throwing it out, putting it in a bin with the lid sealed with bricks, trying to slice it apart while it's trapped in a vice, etc., and perhaps work in a subplot in which Carol begins to fear for Leonel's sanity, given his obsession with exorcising the doll, which she cannot see any issue with.
