  • Not a patch on the minute-and-a-half coffee sequence from Regular Show, but meh; it's a coffee sequence nonetheless.
You're not familiar with it? Then allow me.

    ----------
[Harman brings Theodore a cup of coffee]
Harman: There you go- a nice, hot cup of coffee.
Theodore: [receiving the cup] ...It's cold.
    Harman: Nice cup of coffee.
Theodore: [taking a brief taste of the coffee] It's horrible!
    Harman: Cup of coffee!
Theodore: [looking at the cup with suspicion] Is this even coffee?
    Harman: CUP.
    ----------
Speaking of references Harman will make, I can promise here and now that he will engage Theodore in the infamous Nice Hot Cup of Coffee Sequence.
    :-|

I mean, all that's required is a lake, surrounded by forest (containing log cabins that could be rented out as holiday homes), which is next to both a town and a highway (or other major road). Heck, it could even be Ayres Island. I mean, Harman's definitely going to make a quick reference to the events of TLS anyway.
    How long?

Oh, and while I remember to do so: brief discussion about the set-up of TSoD (which, granted, isn't for a long time yet, but I'd rather sort this out before either of us forget and it becomes too late). So part of what it's based on takes place in a forest on the shore of a lake in Iceland called Þingvallavatn. I'm not fussy about it being in Iceland, but still, Team Gemini would need some kind of excuse to be in a locale like that. Is that workable?
TAMW what the reader is sure to write off as a couple of background characters come back to haunt Megan.

Which reminds me, when will they be seeing Honey again? I assume they will, from the way Travis spoke of her on Polar Island.
    HABA HABA ZUT ZUT.

Then I shall remove Megan when they reach the door to the mini-boss.
Only a slight, minor objection: she must have been pretty quick to find her father's corpse, second-guess who his killer was and where they were going and get there before them. That, and I was thinking about Sonic and Midnight catching up with them.

I mean, it was a pretty major oversight on our parts, when Megan sedated her father, and Sonic was just left standing there. I think some parental retribution is in order, but not enough to make them the mini-boss. But perhaps a plot-device sufficient to keep Megan out of the vs.-Chayce mini-boss.

In other words, it'd just be Jake and Travis against Chayce, which would mean, as I assumed, that I would control Chayce.
