I think you should take the offer. I doubt there's many instances in which you'll feel tempted to say "yeah, dp876 is a flirt" so no loss there.
I see. Well, who knows? Going outside of your comfort zone could be a good thing. Or maybe ask some friends you know with more experience to help you out.
I can really, really see that (for Eve, less so for the other Joys, obviously, if I think about how you've portrayed them in earlier chapters). That line would have been perfect depending on where you placed it.
As an affectionate person who grew up around very non-affectionate people, I can say that I appreciate you.
I spent Friday catching up on fics. As soon as I finished the very last fic, you updated. :C I can't say when I'll have time to look at it (and whatever other fics update in that time frame), but I promise I noticed and will get to it!
I never give out 90+ either, and I'm glad that the trend is falling away from that, haha. I remember at some point in my first awards both my judges ended up giving around 90's for Icarus (and this was, like, third chapter in, mind you) and it was like whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat thanks but no that's not no please what lol. I'm certainly in agreement there, though.
Fair enough. I think most people feel that way. Even though I like battles, I generally mean more gym battles or one-on-one fights. Double battles can be complex and battles against teams can be tricky. The great thing about gym battles is that you can form a strategy for your character and plot it out based on type. Alaska's Celadon and Saffron Gym battles are two of my favourite.
Rude, that's all you think about! I will probably do the first few chapters before I carry on, yes.
The choreography was rather what I meant, just trying to make it a bit different and arrange the battles in ways that I haven't written before. I do have fun writing battles though, so I am a little biased towards them
FINALLY, the first draft of the latest chapter is done! Just proofreading and tidying up to go Hopefully will be live within two days
First, I'm sorry if I haven't been able to talk much lately :c it really does make me sad man.
What drabble?
And today went well, I got a good pace going and then I was foced to go to this family reunion and...proceeded to lose the rest of the day hahahahaaha...fuck my life.
Battles are generally quite hard to get right. I generally make mine quite big and as unique and interesting as possible to make up for the fact that they can be a bit silly at times. It is important to embrace the silliness I think having a quite violent world also makes it easier to have the sort of violent battles.
Those conversations are the best. This one is just irritating because, looking at it now, the three conversations don't really work together, but they kind of have to cause of the storyline. Not fun at all.
