Interesting. I'd like to see it myself. I've analyzed Arceus extensively, to the point where I've actually come up with my own theory to explain Arceus' supposed "invulnerability"
Definitely. It'd be hard not to, given how vastly different the games, anime, and manga are. For the presentation, I mainly used the anime/movies and the Pokemon Adventures manga.
Fair enough. Anime Expo is one of the largest anime conventions in the United States, and the Symposium is a program within the convention where individuals can present works showing that contrary to popular belief, anime is not just mindless entertainment for the masses, and there are academic values/themes to be found in them. My presentation was focused on presenting the evidence to suggest the existence of a Pokemon-based faith or religion within the Pokemon Universe, and then analyzing how the Legendary Pokemon both act as divines within the Pokemon Universe and how they parallel to real-world beliefs.
Sweet. I've been busy lately trying to work out the idea for a paper I'm going to submit an abstract of for Anime Expo 2015. Last year I got to present one of my works (An Insight into the Pokemon Cosmology) in the AX Anime and Manga Symposium and I'm feeling even better about this new idea.
Well, you beat me to it I have made more progress, but this chapter is quite a weird, clunky one, basically moving between three characters thoughts and feelings about the current situation. I can't think of a way to do it better, so I really just need to find a way to make it work
Oh, I actually always put some on both sides of the sandwich, otherwise you get some bites without the sauce. That's annoying, since I love my ranch dressing too much.
I go in twice a week. I guess that's not a lot, but...
I could probably tell you a little-- but my major deals (and will deal) with the theoretical side of aircraft/etc. But I do know exorbitant amounts of information on "mundane" aerospace topics! I mean, it was a ton of fun driving the Mini, but it hated me afterwards. The hardest part was simultaneously shifting from the brake to the accelerator without shuddering to a stop. And yeah, you guys drive on the right side of the car/road . . . so alien.
Admittedly, I am running on very little sleep . . . that may have been a factor. Those crowded places are no fun . . . ah, there's nothing like disrupting people getting personal.
