You could say I'm an old fan. I started with Yellow in 1999, and I later got Blue, Gold, and Silver in 2000-01, as well as N64 spinoffs like Snap and Stadium. I lost interest not long before Ruby and Sapphire came out, but I'll never *hate* any of the later Gens, even the ones I have zero interest in playing. Even if Kanto/Johto will always be my #1 home, I can find positive things to say about all Gens.

The Sims, TV fandoms, everything retro/vintage, art, social justice, and of course, old school Pokémon
