Yeah, I know. Thanks to Tinted Lens, Yanmega wreaked havoc in the Hall.
Here are its most notable wins against Argenta:
An OHKO against Espeon with Bug Buzz
An OHKO against Cloyster with above move
A 2HKO against Regirock with above move (after surviving a Giga Impact, which I was surprised at)
And thanks, Blazaking. I know this stuff because I go to Smogon on a semi-daily basis.
Bug/Flying hit every Pokemon for neutral damage when Tinted Lens is taken into account. Shadow Ball is for Ghosts. Normally, I'd use U-turn for free damage and a switch, but this is the Battle Hall (one Pokemon is allowed), so it's pretty much useless there.
Normally, I use Choice Specs Yanmega with Tinted Lens. I used Gallade and Honchkrow a couple of times, but they didn't work out. (Gallade was OHKOed by Argenta's Scyther's Aerial Ace, while I was surprised that a Flaafy was able to take Honchkrow's Superpower, which led to an OHKO from Thunder afterward)
If you're going up against the Hall, always carry a move that can hit Shedinja (it's sure to show up). I learned that the hard way when I used Electivire.
Well, I kinda like the Factory because of the unpredictability. Lately, it's starting to frustrate me that I keep losing, so it's the Hall I like (it's a really good idea to use Choice Pokemon there).
Sorry to bore you, but here's how it went:
I brought out Gyarados; Palmer brought out Cresselia. I switched to Scizor, knowing it could wall Cresselia with ease. It hit me with Psychic and I Swords Danced up. It used Psychic again and it critical-hit (I was annoyed). I OHKOed it with X-Scissor. Next, Palmer brought out Heatran. I switched to Gyarados and Heatran used Magma Storm, which did more damage than I thought. I used Earthquake, hoping for an OHKO, but Heatran hung on with Focus Sash, then used Magma Storm again. I then finished it with Waterfall. Regigigas was finally brought out and I 3HKOed it with Waterfall. It couldn't do anything to me because I got lucky with the flinches.
