True. But they still kept soundtracks in English. It's mainly that people are calling each other morons for using different versions of THE SAME DAMN NAME that gets me annoyed. It's like with Kuroshitsuji. Also known as "Black Butler". You'll see people going to war over someone daring to call it "Black Butler" when the TWO MEAN THE SAME DAMN THING and apply to THE SAME DAMN SHOW.
That, and the reasoning I mentioned before- so many video game series originated in Japan. Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, Kirby, Metal Gear, Resident Evil, Final Fantasy, KH... Sega's Sonic Team that created Sonic himself is Japanese-based.
Yeah, but that's what made them a bit unique. When the original Sonic Adventure was released, not many games of the time had tracks ingame with full, crystal-clear quality lyrics in them. Plus, they're good songs.
What makes me laugh is when people are asking around for the "original Japanese version"... When SEGA isn't even a Japanese company. Thus, the Sonic series is not a Japanese series. It's a Hawaiian series. So there is no original Japanese version. Because the original was in English.
I'm listening to music from Sonic games. I'm currently listening to the theme of Team Chaotix.
Though my favorite is the old, original, 90's soft rock version of 'Believe in Myself", Tails' theme. I like the lyrics. I HATE the new version, though. It sounds like it was sung by Miley Cyrus or something. Which makes me want to commit murder.
