Hela arrives on Asgard, kills Volstagg and Fandral in seconds (Volstagg was operating the portal while Fandral took Skurge under control). Skurge was appointed by Loki after he had banished Heimdall. Skurge bows to Hela and she decides to make him his minion.
Thor and Loki call for Asgard, the Bifrost portal appears and the three travel through the portal, but Hela kicks Loki and Thor out into space, but they end up on Sakaar, which has many space portals around it (Loki two weeks before Thor btw, since time works different around Sakaar). Loki wins Grandmaster's trust, Thor is found by Valkyrie.
Odin then tells the brothers about Hela and then dissolves into dust, just as Thor wants to kick Loki's butt because he blames Loki for Odin's death, sky turns black and Hela appears from a portal, she breaks Thor's hammer. So NOT in the alleway as trailers suggested.
Odin was brought to some insane asylum by Loki btw, I THINK the same asylum as Selvig was brought to in The Dark World. Loki and Thor find out the asylum has been closed down and is demolished, so Doctor Strange lures them to him to reveal that he brought Odin to Norway. Strange portals Thor and Loki to Norway where Odin stands in some plain looking over the sea.
Also Fenris Wolf, he's a dead wolf in the beginning, laying in some kind of tomb under Odin's Vault along with ancient Asgardian warriors. Hela says something like: "Fenris Wolf, what has Odin done to you?", then ressurects him and the dead warriors with the Eternal Flame, one of Odin's treasures. Hulk later throws Fenris off Asgard into space.
Since you always want to know about trailers, had two of em: Last Jedi, but the old one, NOT the new one. And Maze Runner 3, MEH! I know you care about this series but the trailer did nothing for me.
Yep! There was also another competitor called Doug and Korg mentions him when he tells Thor nobody survives against the champion, sayig "Right, Doug?" then points to a corpse in the corner "Oh yeah, he's dead".
No Korg is really friendly to Thor, wanted to be friends with him. But he does think Thor will be killed quickly by the Champion (Hulk). Korg only participates in the fights to warm up the audience btw.
No before that, they meet in a backstage room where competitors are held.
Yeah I know, but there was nothing to suggest she's bi in the film.
She's the only surviving Valkyrie btw, they were all murdered by Hela and she survived because another Valkyrie took Hela's blade through the stomach for her.
www.marvelcinematicuniverse.wikia.com/wiki/Miek He has blades for hands. At the end on the spaceship, Korg is like: "Miek is dead, I accidentally stepped on him", and then Miek coughs and Taika... UH I mean Korg is like "Oh Miek you're still alive!"
Oh yeah, it is mentioned in the film that Jane broke up with Thor. There is some romantic tension between Thor and Valkyrie but it doesn't play a huge role in the film.
No Matt Damon was pretty recognizable, I heard people behind me saying: "Hey that's Matt Damon!"
YEP! When Hulk shows up, Loki gets really scared and wants to walk away but the Grandmaster doesn't let him. Then during the fight, Hulk does a PUNY GOD on Thor and Loki's like: YES! KNOW YOU KNOW HOW IT FEELS!!
