Sean Bean was just the PERFECT casting choice for Boromir, I mean who else can play the only guy of the Fellowship to die than an actor who dies IN EVERY MOVIE.
I don't like Boromir because he was SOOO ANNOYING, but Sean Bean was still good as him, the character I just don't like, he's the only one of The Fellowship to die, and I also don't like his father Denethor, although Faramir is sorta cool.
As I said to SShiny Blaze we had Galadriel and Gimli before... but I am not fond of love stories in general. I did not think it was that bad and I liked that it seemed to give a bit more character to Legolas.
Figure this, if Bilbo had killed Gollum during that one scene in An Unexpected Journey, then the War of the Ring would have been VERY DIFFERENT, so it is good that Bilbo spared Gollum there.
Yes, really good, and Merry too. In the begin of The Fellowship they are naughty little boys that make trouble and at the end of Return of the King they are heroes that played their part in the war. REALLY COOL.
