I disagree: Carter was loud and obnoxious the whole episode as Meowth, and he really did a worse job than usual as the character to me this episode-- that's saying something.
I liked it subbed, but hated it dubbed. That being said, I respect your opinion.
I know-- thankfully, I've given up watching the new seasons of the English dub.
I'm sick of ALL of them, but I know they aren't going anywhere.
Agreed completely on Carter as Meowth this Arc.
Only in the TPCi dub do we have people inserting internet terms into scripts for main characters like that-- it does reek of Carter and Z Pang America to me.
I would say the Episode N Arc is the first Arc since the OS Arc to Early AG Arc in which I found Team Rocket was quite well balanced: it's a shame Da! and XY have brought back later AG and DP Rockets, who as far as I'm concerned are brainless idiots that merely serve as plot devices 90% of the time.
That was a good episode-- liked seeing Ash and Bayleef reunite in particular myself.
