  • Middle school age is 13 years of age here - and then high school at 16 years old. We have six years of elementary school education, then three years each for middle school and high school educations. For colleges, it differs from three years to four.
What is it like in Scotland?
    ^^" I'm not cuuuute

I should hope so. I will still worry, though.

Fingers crossed you don't. :p I'm still sure it's entirely possible.

Haha! I think we all did at one point or another. I look back on that and find it a bit pitiful, if I'm honest.

I think a lot of parents tend to sort of selectively forget things they don't want to remember about their kids/any pain they're in. My family have accepted they will never understand how I think, which makes me a little bit sad but is easier on us all most of the time.

People like that are few and far between for me outside of these forums, but I try to make all the effort I can for them.

You still didn't have to, though. Especially not with how I waffle on. :p

Is college education supported by the government where you live? Here up to middle school education is regarded mandatory so government's support for education stop after the student graduates from middle school.
I wish you luck on that :3

Thankfully my parents decided that they would pay for college education - I make money for other things though. I am glad because the student loan has too high of the interest rate, when the borrowed money is bound to be a lot in the first place.
I haven't actually had it yet, but they said it would be in Charlottesville sometime over Christmas break. I'm excited for it :)
I played it too, it was really good. :3

That's be frustrating! Did they happen to open up for applicants after that? D:
It's hard here for part-time jobs because they don't pay much, and in contrast, tuition always costs a lot. It's difficult for students that wish to pay for their education without relying on parents. Schools tend to be finicky with scholarships and other support too :/
    If you're sure. ;A; Okay.

Oh pfssshhh, I wouldn't inflict that upon you even if you think you could survive it. :p

Ideas like that do scare me a bit, I have to admit. Still, it's fascinating.
D'awwww! x3 I used to just pray for silly things when we were Christians. Any small thing I was worried about. I was a worrier even then, when my mum worked nights I'd wake up early and sit down by the front door waiting for her to come back at like 5am just so I knew she was safe. Apparently my expectant waiting used to freak her out, though. xD

    There isn't any! ;3

I don't think you do. The way your family acts can mean so much more than how anyone else treats you; since mine dismissed my depressed feelings years ago I've really emotionally pulled away from them and now I've no desire to be close to them at all. That doesn't make me a cold person, because I'm warm and open with my friends.

Aigoo... You guys are too kind. You look upon me too nicely while most people in real life don't give me a second glance.

Yes, keeping busy does help even if you don't feel like it at all. I'm still very glad you've been better. I'll try to remember that. In fact, there is something that's happened in the past day or so, but I'll PM you, I think. If you don't mind.
