You forgot to roll ze dice. I'll take the role of master roller then, and take care of the rolls.
5 out 12 for swellow.
4 out of 12 to Mightyena.
Damage calculator: 4 out of 6~
That means Swellow hits for 4 dmg
IC: "What a spetacular round!", the announcer yelled, "Mightyena is charged up for a great attack, however Swellow did a great hit itself!"
Swellow: 20 HP - No Status - No Stat Modifiers
Mightyena: 16 HP - No Status - +1 on next attack
IC: "Use bite now!", ghaskan ordered. ((waiting for your move))
RIght. IC stands for in character, OOC is out of character, just to make things easier. Sometimes people use double brackets ((like this)) to speak OOC.
IC: ghaskan was standing on the stadium's backstage, waiting for the match to start. Her oponent on this match would be some guy called DT, and she was more than ready to start the show. Finally, the announcer started to speak, and summoned her. As she walked to her spot on the stadium, she smile shyly to the roaring crowd.
Oh durr, forgot some rules:
-All pokémon have the same HP, 20.
-To calculate damage, the one who got hit will roll a 6 way dice.
-Wehn attacking, 12 rolls are crits.
Right, just in case here are the rules:
We'll be using all the kinds of dices. Nice dice site: http://www.bgfl.org/bgfl/custom/resources_ftp/client_ftp/ks1/maths/dice/
When attacking, you roll a 12 dice. If you score 8 or more, you hit. If it's a move that is known for having low accuracy like Blizzard, try to use a higher value to make it fair. This is true to all attacks except the perfect accuracy ones, just to make things interesting.
You can use all the attacks the pokémon learns via level up and up to two non natural attacks.
Other than that, try to keep it a bit RPey... 6-on6?
