Probably. The big question now is if general fitness continues to decline and life expectancies continue to rise in Western countries. If so, it would present some very unique economic challenges going forwards.
It's very strange how different the humanity of the modern Western nations is from the species of two centuries ago in the same areas.
We'll see. I'm somewhat more concerned by having a nuanced and arguably highly immoral character also be a devout Hindu. I really don't feel like getting in flame wars over the story, but I figure as long as I keep it here and maybe on Serebii it's fine. I just wouldn't feel terribly comfortable uploading much of it on ff.net.
All good 8ES is about to enter Fuchsia in the next arc, so after that it will be about five/six arcs to go. I think I can get a lot of it finsihed by the end of the year at least
Well that will happen eventually, but not in the format your thinking. It's not all about Cyrus/Viktor
Cool You could see what other people want to ask as well maybe, get some user submitted questions
1.7 meters. He would be kind of short today, but that's because with improved nutrition average heights have gone way up. In his day he would have been above the average male height.
For any other religion what I know now would be more than enough to portray the basics of the character. But Hinduism is by far the most complicated major religion on the planet. It has literally thousands of gods, dozens of holy books (including the longest epic ever written), three major branches each boasting several sects, and a mythology at least as complex as the Greeks, Norse, and Egyptians. Oh, and it also has no central founder or authority. So that's fun. The advantage of the complexity as a writer is that whatever I write it's probably true for at least one Hindu somewhere.
I am actually shorter than Napoleon. It's rather sad.
Nowadays I try to read about a half hour a day on something related to Vaira. Now it's an introductory text on Hinduism because I'm about to write another Aracai-centric arc. I really don't feel comfortable with my current grasp on the religion, but I figure that at least I'm trying and (as far as I am aware) there aren't any prominent Hindus in the Bulbagarden writing community so my knowledge is still greater than my average readers. Although there was one point where I had a wave of views from India on ff.net and I half-expected to get chewed out for doing something really, really wrong. But because ff.net no one actually reviewed it so I have no idea how I did.
You'd best hope that your signature style won't give you away then
Not really xD It's not like it does into any detail. I don't know why, but I kind of like the idea of her sitting in the shower and not doing anything much
I'll take your word for it. You'd have a difficult time getting me to participate
Aha, now you begin to see my frustration with them. Bloody fools
I think that most Americans in particular don't realize just how brilliant Napoleon was at what he did.
It's really just an authors notes type thing. When Shastra narrates I have to actually talk Hinduism and global politics and economics and the like. Otherwise it's really just writing down my rationale for doing various things in the relevant chapters. Presumably you have a reason for what you write. Author's notes just involves sharing what that reason was.
Yeah. Napoleon knew and stressed that torture was worthless and shouldn't be used but here we are two hundred years later acting as if it'll do anything...
It's an awkward situation at the global level because the institutions need at least informal US backing to be credible, but if we flaunt our ability to stay above them it makes people question what the point of the organization is when it can only take out weak warlords and not the incredibly powerful ones with the ability to commit war crimes on a massive scale.
Chopsticks? Why chopsticks? Another terrible power is alopecia - hair loss # why though? Who wants to lose their own hair? Why??? What is the superpower life coming to?
