  • Let the engineering curriculum consume you . . . do not fight the engineering curriculum, Flaze . . . do not resist the engineering curriculum . . .

    Of course! :D

Oh, okay. I was about to start asking about what sort of dystopian state you live in where Adobe Flash costs money.

I survive off espresso. The way I make it . . . well, it's like jet fuel.
That made me lol, but in a good way. So you know my pain, huh? I bet you always knew a few people on the team who were just SO GOOD yet they NEVER TRIED. Some people on my team had natural talent and it made me so mad.

Me, too. The song I want might just be too advanced. I have another one I'm 3/4 done with that sounds better.

Illinois just got snow, and my car has no heat. If I disappear, the cold ate me alive.

Most guys like shorter girls. :p How tall are you?
I have my defrosting moments, heh. But focus on life-- and engineering! Engineering is life!

True. I've got to find the time to sit down and read through the Fairground's impressive selection.

You have to pay for Adobe Flash Reader? What in the world?

I can still see it, man. And my day has been nice . . . I woke up around 2:00 pm and played Y for about two hours, then drank some espresso, and I've done essentially nothing since. Yay!
LOL. Good one. Actually, I was always the weakest on the team. I threw very slowly, and I didn't get strikes a lot because I'm not that strong. For some reason, the team loved me anyway.

I've taken a few piano lessons and I wanted to play this certain song on piano... but the fact I have no talent made me depressed, so forget that. lmao

    I live in Illinois.

    I'm 5 feet tall. That's it. Almost a midget.
Few people can pull them off. I can xD Besides, I'm really not confident about my appearance so that helps

    I'm a planner, Flaze, I can't help it xD
Aww! Don't be too negative on yourself. I'm cold-hearted and yet I have a boyfriend! I'm living proof that good things can happen!

    Excellent!

Yeah, it can be really hard if you lack the motivation in some cases.

It's looking better, though! I can see the light being lit at the end of the tunnel!
Haha, yeah. I did competitive bowling for 6 years so I hope I won some trophies. :p

...No... I got distracted by a new project of mine. FORGIVE ME!

It's 4:52 PM as I send this, hahaa.

I'm a really weak/tiny person, no needt o be scared.
Yeah ... but I didn't really have that option at the time xD Closest thing was that straw trilby I bought, since it was a warm summer (Looks kinda like that

Alright, well, I'll sling something back soon. I reckon it'll be a good moment for Miko to comment on Josh's wetsuit
You would be extremely hard-pressed to do well with an OC journey fic, I can tell you that much now. The exceptions are How to Conquer Kanto in Eight Easy Steps, Pedestal, and (sort of) The Human Species. Some Mystery Dungeon fics (OC by necessity) do well. Really, though, to thrive you have to go with a shipping fic. Ideally multi-shipping.

Out of the OC ones I listed above, 8ES has enough cartoon violence and journey fic cliches to succeed. The Human Species is my personal favorite fanfic and is as close to flawless as I would ever designate a long-runner fanfic, so it definitely deserves its popularity. Pedestal was also very good from the little I've read of it.
Yes, but the compass itself is older than that, I think. I bought it because it was pretty and not that useful, and I don't have much that's pretty and not that useful

I just wondered if you're still in the mood to write ^^' That reminds me, are there any entry requirements for Elemental Academy?
    Last summer, around, er, July

I'll look into it at some point. Oh, by the way, do you want to take a break from collaboration?
Yes. Each time I rebooted it (with presumably higher quality) it did worse on ff.net. That led to many of my theories about how popularity works on that site.
I suppose so, I paid £60 for mine

I suppose I ought to, if I can find a way to stop it from starting every time I turn my laptop on
They just spell it as "Kristen." I just have bowling trophies, nothing special haha.

Dunno! I'm gonna write it tonight regardless, though.

What time is it where you are?

Haha. I'm just messing with you. <3 teehee
People spell it wrong all the time. It's even spelled wrong on my trophies and certificates, LOL.

I don't know, you were the one who said you wanted to write the awards thing together. Unless I misunderstood? I'm a little hyper right now because I finished SP and I can't stop laughing when people talk to me. Oops.

Oops, made you hungry. GET SOME FOOD, QUICK!

Are you calling me lame? 'Cause I'll kick your ass if you are. :~)
Wow, you spelled my name right on the first try. :C You get a cookie for that one.

Ah, yeah. It's just an idea if you ever wanted to write together sometime. :p

Oh, yeah. Me and my friend have sent macaroni+cheese to a friend in Germany before because there's none there, either.

    Yeah, see? That's the spirit.

    No, just me.
Murphy's Law, my friend. After high school, basically everything that could have gone wrong... did. Thankfully I've managed to put things largely back in order for myself.
Well, more people should say it!

It's pretty easy to use, but yeah, it's not for everyone. Basically all I'd have to do is give you a link and you can see what I'm writing as I write it, and you can make comments/edit.

I do like it, it's just driving me crazy tonight. And I spent a ridiculous amount of time on eBay the last few days trying to find something I wanted for a cheap price. I finally found it, but... I could have been done with your fic a lot sooner. FORGIVE ME!

I can cook macaroni and cheese. That's all I need in life.

In reality, it wouldn't make sense. But this is the pokemon world, so there you go.

    I'm awesome like that.
