  • Yeah. Where is Insy btw?

It's 6.40pm on our little island... he's usually online at this time!
What do you mean Blue's main colour was green?

Jeez, man, I don't know why you're so insistent that it's not confusing. Clearly it is confusing. Clearly the fact that I had to ask you how to you refer to them alone is concrete proof that it is, on some level, fairly confusing. Just because it's not that confusing doesn't mean it isn't confusing and at the end of the day, the switch added confusion and nothing positive so it was incredibly dumb.
I've already explained that I know WHY they got those names. Anyway, Green is more based on a Lass than that, I believe, if you look at the way she's dressed.

Anyway, I think it's just confusing because you can never be certain which character people are talking about when they say 'Green' or 'Blue' referring to Special.

It clearly wasn't necessary, it's not that hard to understand that a character has a name even if the name doesn't make perfect sense. And you cannot deny that it made things more confusing, even if it didn't make them that much more confusing. Sigh. Stupid translators.
I know the reason, I still think it was stupid, particularly since Green never came out in english anyway. It just confused things on a huge scale...
Yeah, just wondering. I call the guy Green and the girl Blue because that was what they were called in the translations of the Red arc that I read and I just got used to that. I wish Viz had never changed it! Confusing!
I guess, they probably just saw it was a similar shape.

Or perhaps they got a good look at it in spite of all the light surrounding it?

By the way, do you refer to the boy with the Charizard as Green and the girl with the Blastoise as Blue or the other way around?
Something like that if I recall correctly.

The real reason was, of course, because they didn't know what it was going to look like. I think the Lugia you see in the Yellow arc is just meant to be made out of light or something like that.
Storyline wise, it was because it wasn't fully summoned or something. What we saw was just like the outline of Lugia or something like that.

The practical reason is because at the time, the final design for Lugia had not been confirmed so in the manga they kept it as vague as possible so that they wouldn't be wrong when Lugia's final design was revealed. At the time they just had the provisional design for Lugia. You'll also notice (I think) that they don't actually say Lugia's name in that arc.
Simple: Veteran's day. At PVCC, the library would have been closed, and my high school is closed. As for Friday, well, I got up late and missed the 7:27 bus that I usually take, so I had to wait for the 8:27 bus.
FRLG is awesome too. I'm surprised you rate Yellow so low though!

I've read the start of DP, but I found it hard to get my hands on copies of it.
