Oh, no the weapons themselves, though I do recall seeing people materialize weapons from no where, though I don't remember where, unfortunatly. I do remember it being a damn awesome thing, though =P
Well, control of the elements is similar to Element Benders, who do the same thing, from Avatar, while the weapons are similar to Shen-Gong-Wu, which also use elements or mystical abilities. A couple of plots, I've seen many times elsewhere.
I don't want to keep it going... but I love the ending, dearly, in a morbid sort of way. And there's a few stellar parts that I like, as well. But besides that...
Hey, smoe animals use their front paws as hands when need be, same applies here, it could balance on one leg and use the other to hold or control something...or may not even need hands, since people tend to feel intimidated by it, it can probably control things with it's compressed mind (humans tend to fear such abilities naturally, as we can't do it and if it gets control of us, it'll take ovr and thus, warning bells go off)
Ah, schweeet. And it's an alien, does it really have to fit with our limited views of the universe, since I'm pretty sure the universe has it's own ideas.
