Not if I put my heart to it - as far as writing go, I can take it at a leisurely pace, there's no haste in getting published.
Yeah, same here, I can't think of many Norwegian writers who have got a lot of books published. I think Jostein Gaarder has garnished some international recognition for his novels though. So I might try and get something published through a foreign publisher, rpeferably an English one.
I've been studying since early this morning, and it won't distract me. Being on here waiting for you to reply is more distracting. XD
and tomorrow...I have to go to therapy.
Well, I would have to catch up on posts at night. I mean, right now I wouldn't even be on. I kind of wish I wasn't too. It's taking too much time away from me. Can you please just get on Skype? XD
Because I need to focus on my finals. let me put this in simple terms for you. As Hips put it:
[12:36:13 PM] Matt Hardardt: hazelbean, your bonnie lass needs to do good in school
[12:36:29 PM] Matt Hardardt: otherwise she'll never escape her hick town (as you put it)
[12:36:36 PM] Matt Hardardt: and then she'll never make it to Venezuela
[12:36:46 PM] Matt Hardardt: and then you'll never run away to Paris to get married.
[12:36:52 PM] Matt Hardardt: I DONT THINK YOU WANT THAT
I started one last month that won Fic of the Month - a fantasy fic called Crystal of the Elements. However, I found that I wanted to write a more contemporary pokemon fic - one set in the modern-day pokemon world, at any rate (it was placed in a medieval setting). So I took some aspects of the fic (story-wise, character-wise) and melded them with a trainer-journey fic I've wanted to write for some time; the result is a halfway trainer-journey, halfway something else fic, which I'm currently writing, and will soon post the first chapter of.
Along with that, I'm also in the planning stage of an original story, a sci.fi. drama which will be my first attempt at writing an actual book that i want to get published.
Hey! Sorry I haven't talked in a while. School and sports have made the past month or so brutal, to say the least. My activity on here has been sporadic. I can assure you that I will keep reading and writing though, just no posts for a bit. How've you been?
