  • Heya, sorry for the late reply - I've been busy all day. My step-dad randomly decided that that Sunday was going to be the day when the fated room swap was finally going to be finished. At least I finally now have a room big enough for all my stuff - with the wall next to my bed currently being known as my "PuWalla Magi Madoka Magica" due to it mainly consisting of Madoka Magica posters xD. Lying in my bed, to my right I see Pokémon posters, to my left I see Madoka posters and in front of me I see my manga shelf - can't ask for more really xD.
Very true - that fight was so awesome I squealed.

You stream it online? I highly recommend actually downloading it through torrents - it's perfectly safe, almost always you will get better quality, and when it's downloaded, it's downloaded, you have the enitre series ready to be watched.

Mostly everything has been done, ut the execution can be novel and intriguing.

I can probably give it a read, after midterms are done - I don't eve nhave the time to write my own stories right now P:
Yup, that's true. But the aesthetic values was what truly won me over as far as Bleach goes; fillers can always be skipped. But Naruto has incredibly ugly animation, with so many flaws and iffy scenes and what not - and its soundtrack is bland, repetitive and plain boring. It's not evocative, and thus fails as a soundtrack.

Hmm, I actually prefer anime; it's less of a drag, sine you don't have to imagine movements and sound yourself; it's the same as why cartoons are better than books; the latter requires you to also imagine scenes. So in order of what's a drag, it would go like this: motion picture->cartoon->written book. With motion picture as the easiest medium to enjoy.

"Novelty sense" is just how well I pick up novel ideas and concepts - basically, saying "it isn't challenging my novelty sense" is just a fancy way of saying somehting is unoriginal. Equaly, if I said something like "my novelty sense is tingling", it means I'm currently watching/reading/hearing something new and fresh, something interesting; something novel.

Gundam Seed, I'm planning to watch; along with most of the Gundam franchise at large. Just finished most of Macross (haven't updated that on myanimelist though), so now I'm moving on to Gundam.
The Naruto manga is way better than Bleach, but as far as the animes are concerned Naruto just plain sucks; Bleach kept me entertained to the end (mostly because of higher production values; better art and a much more varied and enjoyable soundtrack).

Have you read/watched Fairy Tail? It's rather awesome, has good art, and the most epic soundtrack among all of the long-running mainstream series (even more so than Bleach, I daresay).

Overall, neither of those shows are outstanding though; like Gurren they have their entertainment value; it's simple action basically, but it stops there; they aren't challenging my novelty sense, to put it that way.
Heh, well, we all have our talents ;) And thanks.

I rarely sweat what I can't master - if there's such a thing (I believe hard work can lead you to master everything, but then again, I've been blessed with a near-supernatural learning capacity P:)
    I see what you mean.

Anyway, I'm tired. It's time for me to hit the hay. Good night.
Ah, right. I didn't know the name of the actress anyway.

As I understand it, the original female characters weren't Penny anyway.

Well, yes, the one who stands out is the most popular. Of course!
    Who's Kailey?

The sperm bank scene is probably funnier in the original, but kind of at the expense of the integrity of the show, which is why it had to be changed, I guess.
Oh yeah, I've seen the beginning of the pilot. It's... very different. I'm glad they changed it.
It all works really well, and I suppose you're right that it's not the same with Sheldon and Amy since Sheldon's plot lines have never revolved around girls anyway.

I guess it isn't as bad as it was in Friends, or things like that. I always find TV shows with too many couples in the main characters end up running out of storylines because there's less for the main characters do actually do once they're all tied down, and it's difficult to break a couple up if they're both main characters. They inevitably end up getting back together.
I don't know really, it's hard to say. I know what you mean about things changing a lot. I certainly like Amy Ferra Fowler. Though, I've never liked in any TV show there being too many couples as main characters... it tends not to work. It ends up dooming the show, because what they can do is too limited.
