  • She could at least wear a proper top rather then a bikini top, like the one Lara Croft wears, covers more and it doesn't impede.

Eh, I rarely go to see films: I'm just a huge Sherlock Holmes fan =P I love how they readded the dog mentioned in the first chapter of the first story and never again :L

Basically EVA but not... I hate copycat programs... ¬_¬
Fanservice: seeing Misato in the bath = she's contemplative and we aquire insight into her, Asuka's flirting = Asuka showing her interest in Shinji and her terror of ending up alone (which is later seen to be caused by her mother 'disowning' her for a doll and hanging herself, which would cause severe abandonment issues for a fairly good reason), and Rei's little mishap with Shinji = clearly to demonstrate she has no understanding of social norms, which I can fully understand and relate to.

Do note you're talking to someone who, upon watching Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows, I accurately predicted both Holmes' and Moriarty's actions (which I will not state to prevent spoilers): I could make a freaking essay about this =P
Oh, just a minor thing, nothing of real interest.

I recognise the woman, the one in a bikini top. She was someone's avatar, she looks like nothing but fanservice.
I'm eh, hurting a bit but otherwise fine =P

And no thanks, EVA provided good enough amusement to keep me entertained for a while :L
Hello! Hey, sorry, life has been absolutely hectic recently for reasons I'd rather not go into. However, my exams have just ended, and I think I'm gonna be able to get everything back on track now.
I have stopped using so much dialogue to explain things. I have found that one way I can make things shorter is by not explaining every little unnecessary detail. In an upcoming Galactic that I am writing slowly between chapters, I found that skipping an unnecessary bit made a paragraph a lot shorter. The same happened with another story and it helped things finish a lot quicker.

On the subject of things being written quickly, I have found a new method of completely closing the internet for a certain period of time to encourage me to write more without distractions, and it is working wonders.
Fair point, though short stuff is more likely to capture your attention. Though I don't really want to debate this, as it is more about the writers personal taste anyway. I just personally find stories with really long chapters hard to get into if I havent followed since the start, sort of like trying to catch up on a series that already has a lot of seasons.
