  • Ugh, I was. I had to get up at eight because the electrician was meant to be coming at eight thirty to fix the stove. They've only just left, and it's nearly ten o'clock. Herp.
Yeah, that'll be the earliest. If I do get sick of it, I'll finish the world of dreams arc and do a timeskip epilogue that shows Ren losing his title - whenever that may be - and I'll move on. It shouldn't come to that, though.
I had that problem for a while. People got used to me dropping fics and started to expect it to happen, which meant no reviews. Hopefully, Champion Game will be the trendbreaker.
That's pretty much my mindset as well. If I was to restart something, it would have to be a complete re-imagining of the concept. I don't think Champion Game, for example, could be made much better unless I rewrote it from scratch.
I mean, it's a creative process. Some people just have more success when they go back and rework things every now and again. I'm the exact opposite, though: I never rewrite or review anything, haha. Probably not very good of me. What about you? Ever thought of rewriting something?
I'll just have to see about that. He did ask me to review it, though, so I'm going to.

I'm no good with finishing fics either. The only difference is that in my case, I usually just drop it and start something new when I get into that slump. Champion Game is about six times longer than my longest previous one was when it was dropped, and I've started and dropped at least six different fics over about three years. I don't plan on dropping CG, though . . .
Then I'm free to read Welcome To Our World, Pocket Monsters, Jester's new fic, and whatever else I feel like. And I'll have some more time to write as well.
For some reason, it's a busy time of year . . . XD

I don't have anything else to do, either - or rather, I won't once I get this reviewing challenge finished. Just one more to go!
No, no. That's what I mean. It's more subtle about the comedy than some I've seen, so it's not a crack fic at all. I'd call it more satire than parody, if I was to split hairs over definitions.
It's basically a straight-up journey fic, apart from the fact that the main character is a lazy ass who likes to hit people. He's sixteen, and he never bothered to go on a Pokemon journey, but his mom is forcing him to. (It's that or go back to school, which he absolutely hates.) It's more comedy-oriented than Champion Game, though it should have its fair share of drama and tension as well. It parodies various elements of the games, but it's a little less in-your-face about it than other parodies I've read.
Mostly just writing Champion Game and Something's Got To Give, and watching Kim Possible. Today's episodes just finished, so I'm checking up on the forums and my emails before maybe going to bed.
I was looking back at my posts and saw that I accidentally wrote 1 or 2 weeks, when I really meant 1 or 2 days XD. I finished earlier than I expected, and it's published now, right here.
