  • Which one? I'm still reading Dragon's Roar, I haven't been able to read a lot. I had 4 projects due this week alone.
If I have time, I might. As of now, my priorities are RP's and my fic, then reading other fics, then some other small things. Why do you ask?
It's just about 2 pages, 1.5 spacing and size 12 font. I'm not gonna add much more to it, but I still think that it would be a better decision to wait a little and proofread and revise and other things.
I needed to add more to the prologue. It ended up being just above 1200 words and that's too short to grab the readers attention.
All the regions go to war against eachother, using legendary pokemon as their main weapons. The main character, Leo, gets drafted into the Sinnoh army, and it goes on from there. I'm not gonna post it for another week or two, I thought I was ready to post it but I wasn't.
I like Braviary, actually. I never had one myself until I decided to give Ren one. I trained one up and it actually tears up the field pretty well. It's a great Scarf revenge-killer.

Anyway, I'm going to go and write for a while. I need to finish Chapter Two of Something's Got To Give by tonight, so I'll do that before I sign back on again. See you later.
He doesn't? Oh hell, you're right. Actually, most of the Pokemon he has are kinda wimpy, competitive-wise. Like, I don't think any of them are any higher than UU tier, with the risky exception of Yanmega. A good Specs set can sweep okay in OU, but it's not recommended. None of them are particularly beefy, though. There's no pseudo-legendaries there or anything, let alone a Dragon-type full stop. His rival has one or two, though.
You did beat me . . . at your first language (my second language) XD. Your English is likely better than my Spanish though, so yes.

I'm 99% sure Dragonfree is a she, yes. And I had the same problem with GaMa too. The username didn't help things.

I left it because it sucked and there was nobody there? XD I can't even remember what it was called. Let me see . . . nope, I can't find it either. Forumotion probably took it down for inactivity, anyway.
True, GaMa's very good too. He's not around right now, though.

Well, I couldn't remember whether 'idioma' was masculine or feminine, so I guessed based on the last letter. Nine times out of ten it works, but . . . ugh. And I've never been that good with soy vs estoy, especially in kind of ambiguous situations like that. So . . . But in either case, I was still top of the class for the last two years.

Yeah, Dragonfree's great. Her first language is Icelandic, if I recall correctly, but she knows English better than most native speakers I know.

I left it too. It's probably still languishing in the corners of the internet somewhere.
Of course, once you beat Legacy all out, you have to then beat me. >:D

Pero he estado aprendiendo la idioma por cuatro años, y creo que es bastante fácil. Pero estoy el mejor en mi clase . . . jaja.

Yeah, Serebii's really cliquey like that. Certain authors like Ysavvryl, bobandbill, Dragonfree and Breezy get heaps of attention on their stories, while most other people suffer in ignominy.

    That forum . . . ugh. Don't even . . . ugh, no. No.
Basically, it's size and style. XD Light novel - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I find your stories more interestng in terms of plot, but I think your biggest problem is your grammar, really. As English isn't your first language, you're at a disadvantage, but the longer you work at it, the less excuse you'll have. One of the best fanfiction authors I know - and one who is most knowledgeable about the language itself - speaks English as a second language. English is a bitch of a language to learn, but all it takes is time and effort.

Yeah, I guess. Here, it's like that; at PC, people prefer comedies; at Serebii, people prefer fics by certain authors who've been around a long time. :/ It's majorly cliquey over there. And at fanfiction.net, the focus is on romance and humour stories. At PE2K, well . . . I don't even know. That fanfiction forum is deader than my social life.
What? That's not what I meant at all. I've read a few light novels, and they make just as much sense as other books.

Hehe, Legacy. He wasn't even around when I first joined. I've read some of his stuff, and it's pretty good. I reckon you could beat him with a bit of work, though. On PC, my rival would be Cutlerine . . . the guy just writes so much and posts really fast. I can't keep up. Not to mention that he writes comedy-style things, which are automatically more popular than serious fics.
Oh yeah, light novels. Yeah, I can see where they're coming from. Your stuff would make sense as a light novel.

Well, nobody expects that kind of thing from me, especially on PC where I've been a part of the fanfiction community for a solid few years now. So it would be totally unexpected.
I tend to write in fantasy/action most of the time, though I do horror and sci-fi as well. I'm pretty terrible outside of that, especially with romance and friendship type things.

Which reminds me, I'm considering writing a Christmas shipping fic just to confuse the shit out of everybody.
Yeah, it does. I tend to do better work when I'm doing it for someone else . . . my writing is the same. The things I write for my own amusement are absolute crap compared to what I post for other people to read.
Awesome. The background is one of the hardest things to get right, because I always seem to end up with them being really, really boring or too cluttered and messy. Finding a balance with that is what takes me the longest out of the banner-making. That and positioning the text, I guess.

. . . Now I'm jealous because the ones I made for myself don't look as good as that one. XD
