  • Edmund has no way of going after them. He doesn't have flying or teleporting Pokemon.

Yeah. Rivals are good side villains before the main villain appears, or can build up into a main villain
Nah, the Sky decoder in my room doesn't have the capability to record. I guess I could record it on the one in the lounge, but I just tend to stay up till two in the morning anyway during the holidays.

But a rival shouldn't always be the direct opposite of a main character. That's no fun! While they have some conflicting tendencies that bring them into conflict with the protagonist, they also need to have some similar characteristics, because then the protagonist sees themselves in their rival. Like Gary Oak from the anime. Unlike Ash, he was arrogant and superior, which is why they were always fighting. He was kind of like Ash in some ways, though: he cared deeply for his Pokemon, and he had that same desire and determination to be number one. That's what made him such a great rival; they have to be relatable and similar rather than straight-up opposites.
Well... yeah. The plot is about them escaping from their past and trying to outrun the past. It would make no sense to kill the Minder and than they go and magically piss someone else off. And Edmund couldn't be the villain as he wouldn't know if the Minder had died or not.

I like having an antagonist, or at least someone to cause problems.

    I noticed.
That would be dodgy story telling though, like if Harry killed Voldemort in the sixth book and then some random guy began to take over the world in the last book

Slow and steady is better than being too cluttered
Yeah, I was just struck by a random whim to be Shego/Kim. damn they're hot Yeah, I love the show and I've recently discovered Disney Channel plays it at one in the morning on weekdays, so I've been staying up every night to catch it. XD

Also, is that a Haruhi Christmas avatar I spy?
Yeah, but what's that like mean? That they can make the room dark? That it makes their punches stronger? Or can I get more creative?
I'm not going to repeat that, typing it made my my fingers bleed. Speaking of, how does dark claw work? Can I make it so it makes the spells he has more powerful while it's active?
I can't believe you didn't see this coming, man. Alright then, chicken summoning it is. Chickens made of light. Or perhaps fluffy bunnies?
