Sure, if you see me online and you need someone to post in the thread, you can almost always ask me. I would have, I just didn't think I was involved in the last few posts, but I'll do it anyway.
I think he'll come up with a new group story stratagem if he comes back, personally. I don't think the editor would be bought out and I don't think Nanamine would spend his money that way. After all, it's his dad's money not his own.
Yes, I think he certainly would want to get an anime before them. The only thing is he hasn't even managed to get serialised for more than like 2 months yet.
I don't think he will go to another company but he might go to another magazine within Jump, for instance, the seinen magazine, which is actually more suited to his style anyway.
He is quite similar to Light in a lot of ways but there are differences between the two.
I think you're right that if he comes back he will end up doing something else with his company.
Personally, I think he will end up coming back with his tail between his legs. What happens next will depend entirely on the personality of the new editor-in-chief.
Artemis (my friend irl) suggested that when the old editor-in-chief said giving Nanamine such strict conditions was his last act of selfishness might have hinted that he wanted to get Nanamine on his new magazine.
I think you're right in saying he would like to defeat them in conventional means so that rules out the first two options.
There's no way he could afford Jump.
Don't forget that the money he has is just his father's money and his company racked up a huge amount of debt and in the end didn't turn out any mangakas.
