  • Good point. There are a few helpful technicians in my family. Problem is, the only way to talk to them is through my pappy, and currently it's a bit difficult to contact them, what with some slightly strained relations, not to mention how busy everyone is.
True, although the thing is that I kind of need my nails to have length.

The power button to the monitor of my computer (I'm on my laptop right now) is kinda jacked up, so it tends to twist out of place. I need my long nails to keep fixing it.

I love it ^^ I'm actually trying to think up a sign up for myself.
Well, it's a foregone conclusion more or less; we all battle, and that's that. I'm kind of obsessive regarding planning, so I just wanted to bring the topic up before it's too late.
So, plans for the second round of the qualifiers in Fuse King? More matches between us players, or should we throw some NPCs in? Or something else entirely?
Yep, but the idea of Chigon and his evo's are pretty cool. So far, Pangon sounds the coolest.
I've been reading Dragon's Roar for a while now. I'm just beginning the third arc, and I love it so far.
I should be able to do it today but it might overspill into tomorrow and I'm busy tomorrow.

Legacy picked this one and we all OK'd it. I don't know how future ones will be picked, probably in a similar fashion but perhaps with a different person proposing.
I'd happy to read the first three chapters and let you know whether I think you should go all at once or space out.

It would probably take me until late this evening though.
    Well... yeah, I suppose so.

I just GM roleplays that I would wanna be in. My number one rule is that every possible role in the roleplay would be fun for me to play.

As an example, other sites have done Superhero roleplays before, but they're usually very Hero-focused. It isn't much fun to RP as a Villain in those roleplays because the gameworld is unbalanced in the Heroes' favor, and in some of them you aren't even allowed to RP as a Villain -the villains are all NPCs. It removes all the challenge and makes the villains feel like cardboard cutouts (which they are) rather than real people.

When I developed the Rogues Gallery, I actually was most excited about the prospect of playing as a Villain - something I didn't do very often at the time. In fact, I was so excited about it that I returned to Bulbagarden specifically to create that roleplay!
Ok, let's take Armeira, for example (using it because, unfortunately, it's gone inactive so I might as well spoil some things):

Lumen (whom I control) told several characters that Harteil was about to come under attack. Inevitably, since the characters she told were the brave, adventuresome types, they are going to travel there to try to help - if for no other reason than to win the goddess' favor.

Harteil is a coastal city, and their is a particularly vicious sea-monster living nearby (which I also control). The characters will surely end up near the docks at some point - and if I'm really lucky, they'll even get in a ship and go out on the water. Regardless, they'll be in a very precarious situation when said sea-monster decides to show up.

The characters think they're in control, but I still have a lot of power over what happens next. There wasn't actually that much guessing there.
Yes, the individual characters are going to make their own decisions. However, while the RP'rs control a single character, YOU, the GM, control an entire world. By planning out the events of the world in which your roleplay takes place, you come to a point where you can make a pretty accurate guess as to the decisions the majority of the characters will make, and the direction the plot (which you also control) will take.
