yeah I'm not sure I'm gonna join the bounty hunters one. I don't really like any of the three ability things. personally as a bounty hunter I'd be geared up with all sorts of crazy tech.
Well, generally the contract for a house lasts a year. Sometimes people stay in the same house for more than one year but it's pretty common to change if you find a better house or want to live with different people.
I both wanted to live with different people and found a better house. This one is really really nice.
Great thanks. We're both back at Uni now so we're still together but we're not living together atm like we essentially were before.
Just moved in to my house for the year and it's fantastic. So much better than my houses from last year and the year before. Really looking forward to this year =)
I'm sending you a PM with what I have worked out so far. But in summary: we have a general qualifying round very near the beginning, to get everyone excited early. Then there'll be a break where everyone's training for the actual tournament, as well as where the enemy is introduced. And then the tournament itself.
I think the best way to keep people interested is to give them a taste at the beginning, and then make them wait for the resolution for a bit. Delaying things at the beginning won't end well, I think.
Well, my idea was to have the tournament at or near the beginning, unlike the latest iteration, where we never really got to it in the first place. Why don't you PM me your ideas, and I'll see what I can think up? Then we can work out a proper direction for the RP.
Well, fusing with Pokemon is awesome. And most Pokemon RPs are generic tournaments, journeys, or academies. It's rare to see someone bring in an original yet simple concept. It just seemed a bit more intense and dynamic to me, while still remaining distinctly Pokemon.
I'll write up a plot, to see if that'll help motivate players. Simply battling is just fun, but interest does die out after a while. Having a concrete enemy makes things a bit more intense. And with two GMs, maybe we can keep things going longer, right?
My apologies if this seems presumptuous (which this likely is), but would you mind if I borrowed your old Fuse King RP concept? It was one of my favorite RPs, and I'd like to see what I could make of it.
