  • Well, Wuthering Heights is one the 'literary' classics that I had to study to earn my A-Level qualification in English Language and Literature (An A-level is kinda the stage between compulsary education and university).

I'll be honest, I'm probably a volume or two behind the manga as it's never been a priority for me. Something about it just doesn't click. I wish the light novels were translated more T_T
The first book was published in April 2007, and the second one was published in October 2007. However, they're still releasing the manga (somewhat irregularly). Perhaps the books didn't sell enough copies to justify the time spent translating them?

Sure is a shame...I love the books so much I ended up comparing the first one to Wuthering Heights in my A-Level English exam (I got a C - hell yeah!).
I just wish Viz Media translated more of the novels. "22 novel series; let's only publish 2" >.>
Indeed. I can see the movie and season 2 either being released on the same day, or the movie before.

Still, I thought they would have released them earlier this year, so fans would be up to date for a Shana III simulcast.
Iirc, with Evangelion, they managed to get the voice actors of some of the more important characters (like Shinji, Asuka, Misato and Gendo) to return, so perhaps it's taking so long because they're trying to negotiate? At the very least, I hope Yuji and Shana's voice actors return; although considering that the first season was dubbed in Canada, that might be hard (as ADV was based in Texas too iirc). Also, I don't think that Kristian Ayre (Yuji) has been involved in that much stuff lately; although Tabitha St. Germain (Shana) has appeared in a few anime dubs recently, so she's most likely still in the business.

I've tried to think of FUNi voice actors that could play the characters, but I always come at a blank for Shana, so hopefully Tabitha returns. Although, if Friagne's voice actor couldn't return, I can see Eric Vale being able to pull off the character (and watch them cast Colleen Clinkenbeard as Margery >>)

I wonder if they'll do what TPCi did with the Mirage Pokémon special and release the movie first to see fan reaction on some of their recasts.
Indeed. In terms of matching the animation, Blaze has to be my favourite opening theme. This may be the looking-too-deep-English-Student part of me, but I love how the KOTOKO goes back into her more recognisable tone when the scenes change to being more action packed. Although personally, I prefered "Being" more. In fact, the new song KOTOKO is performing doesn't begin with the letter B! It's called "Light my Fire".

Still, Mami Kawada performed the opening theme for the Shakugan no Shana S OVAs, so I guess the two take it in turns? xD

I also wish FUNimation would just announce when they're going to be releasing Season 2, S and the movie. They announced the license last July; saying they will be released at the end of this year...but no news since,
It is currently scheduled to begin airing on 7th October.

Also, KOTOKO will be returning to do the opening theme (I sure hope Mami Kawada does the second opening them...it wouldn't be Shana without both of them).
I can imagine it would end up like that. I'm going to be having two sort of juxtapositional stories going on throughout the fic and I needed two chapters to make it easier to set them up.
By the way, speaking of fics, I wasn't too sure about what you meant when you were talking about my fic. Are you actually reading it?

Sorry if it sounds bothersome, I was just kind of confused.
Fair enough. I thought it was serious enough to be considered serious, but I guess you must really have something planned.

To think you said that this fic was something more akin to something you just thought up.
    Ah...ah...you teasing bastard!

Pretty clever idea. I guess that'll get people more adjusted to the idea of Ed getting it on with someone. Heck, they'll probably guess it, too.
Naturally, what with fanfiction.net being what it is and all. They don't even enforce the rule that says that if you wanna post lemons, do it on adultfanfiction.net.

Well, that depends. Since sex can be very varied, like maybe it's something done on a regular basis, not to mention whether or not planning goes into the act.
Ah, I see. Yeah, that's a reasonable worry. Though, I think at one point lemons were common around here, though probably back in the early 2000s.

I'm glad that guys like you are testing the waters. It'll help me figure out how explicit to make my fic when it gets to (un)sexy bits.
What can I say? I had some free time. And thanks, I meant every word. Ill be sure to keep reading to see if my predictions are correct.
As I said to Samwin, back to delete my account. Something urgent came up, and everything on here has to go.
Oh sweet. Might not read it today though since my girlfriend's visiting at the moment.
The teachers are doing things. There's not much for Evan to do. I intend to post when class starts/they get food/they all have pokemon battles for some reason. As it stands, he is not the type to do things. He likes other people okay, but he is also nihilistic and lacks initiative, meaning that he is unlikely to take the reins in a social event unless things are painfully awkward and there is no sign of someone else doing so.
