  • I mean to have written without having fully proof read and finalised it.

As in, things might change from that point but I will, at least, have the whole thing written out.
    Yeah, 50 pages shouldn't be a problem =P

Although I doubt I'll be able to finish my first draft of the novel within my original target, which was the end of September.
    Well thank you.

I've written and proofread nearly 40 pages. Most agents ask for 50 pages as a sample although I should have the whole thing written out (even if it's not been properly proof read) before I send anything off really.
Only minor ones, such as the Animé and Canonity. DC does the same thing with their comics, lets the writers do as they please so long as it doesn't interrupt canon.

There's plenty of Kingdoms in the Mario series, and Mario appears in Hyrule Castle in OoT while Link appears in the Mushroom Kingdom. =P

Well, most are just made up from scratch to give the series their 'own continuities', so they're really not continuity with Nintendo :L
After the movie :3 After reading, I'll finish off the next Travelsverse BotB then something else. Btw, have you read the BotB?
Naw, got the mention, though. Watching Sherlock Holmes :3 (basically the person I've modelled my life on :L)
Fair enough =P Or perhaps he's KO'd by the Dragon of Shroud and his Pokémon merely keep him safe...or perhaps the DoS sends him to a different part of the Advanceverse Pokéworld :L
Perhaps he stays at the end and flies off to the Spear Pillar, where Palkia sends him home (Palkia DO monitor Space, after all). Cut to Travelsverse "You will not believe the months I have had..."
I thought he was gona be sent back after fighting Charles by his secret weapon...

Tell me the new ending, please :3
Yeah, well, I might not have to do the scholarship reading at all, because it seems it clashes with one of my other exams and I may have to skip it this year. I was taking it a year early, though, so it'd be fine if I do it next year.

On that note, it's nearly one o'clock on a school night. I should catch some z's. See you tomorrow! (two more days of school, hell yeah!)
Hm? Oh, yeah, I haven't. School's been working me to the bone right to the end of term. The holidays start on Saturday, though, so that's when I'll get down to it. I can finish reading and reviewing both Confessions and Silph's Escape on Saturday, and I can probably get Welcome to Our World done by Monday night. Probably being the operative word. Then I have a couple of others to last me the week, plus all my books for English scholarship and about eight volumes of the Genshiken manga to read. In other words, I'll be reading and reviewing all holiday. Genshiken is the only thing out of that list that doesn't require critical analysis. orz
Yeah - while sometimes, it's just annoying persistence (usually in crappy writers), it's usually quite respectable to continue to post your chapters. The worst thing you can do, of course, is say you'll quit if you don't get x number of reviewers by y date, but you'd have to be a right fool to try that one on.

Well, it's hard to explain why any one story is more or less popular than any other . . . I don't know. Maybe you're targeting the wrong audience? I couldn't say without giving it a better read.
People admire writers who keep posting even if they don't have many - or any - people reviewing. It shows them you're willing to keep it up. As for your friend, well . . . all I can say is I hope you get over your troubles. :3

Well, I just posted Chapter Four here, but I'm actually putting the finishing touches on Chapter Fourteen this eveningmorning. :) And that's about 105 pages, or nearly 52,000 words.
