That would have been an interesting topic. It really sucks how you can completely lose inspiration/enthusiasm for certain projects at a whim.
Yes, and I call it Arkadelphitis. You have been warned.
No, no, Krispy Kreme doughnuts are far superior. The Dunkin' Donuts ones are lame and dry by comparison. Google them!
You have no idea . . .
The whole copyright (infringement, patenting) work is really where it's a business, to say. If you want control over your "intellectual property" and don't want others using it, then it's useful. And with all the crazy-advanced technologies emerging, patent law is very important (though steadily becoming more convoluted than it already is).
DON'T TEST ME
Ugh, I know the feeling . . . at least you didn't have to code it in MATLAB!
That's true. .-. I am a visual learner, so I usually do well with graphs and figures, but I needs hands on stuff too and that's just not really something you can get from studying ecology.
Work, work, nor dare to shirk. I don't know where I'm going to find time to write the next Scribbledegook, since I want to finish the last edit of Chapter Seventeen this weekend
Oh I love evolution. This particular class is mostly ecology, biodiversity, and conservation. Which I like all right, it's just I don't really care as much about looking at this stuff only through graphs and numbers.
It'll still fit. I mean, we're going to have them with their own ... partners first before we switch them round. And with this as the blueprint it shouldn't be too difficult to shuffle to one perspective
At least I'm enjoying my classes for the most part. Ironically the one that's most related to what I want to do with my life is my least favorite atm. lol
And keep moving forward.
The outpouring of love from the RT fandom is very heartwarming.
I have a bad habit of opening a bunch of tabs at once and not remembering to bookmark ones with unfinished work/replies/whathaveyou in them when I'm done internetting.
Oh yeah those. Definitely get different vibes from them, but then again, I get different vibes from "" and "=)"
My big story (and a smaller one I abandoned that expanded on the eruption of Cinnabar Island) have some scientific themes. But hey, that's the life of a writer.
You will. It will slowly consume you, until you are drinking espresso and using legal pads all day in the lab.
I've heard of that --we get a lot of foreign students (particularly graduate students) here that work extremely hard. But yeaaah, study in the USA! Let us assimilate you!
You underestimate the man.
The kind I'm most interested in deals with patents (litigation, prosecution) and anything that falls under "intellectual property," which are "creations of the mind" or something. And . . . they make a fortune. School is tough, and the basic requirements of today make it a painful necessity. But, if nothing else, I do like rocket propulsion!
Yep. My dad got me hooked!
I had a "thorough" physics exam today, so I'm essentially dried up of energy. Life is tough, man. Real tough.
I just find them more interesting to write. With any luck we can get them written well before The Long Walk catches up in the timeline
I just think it's sweet. The main character takes her in rather than let her get sent of to an orphanage, when he doesn't so much as have a pet to look after
Yes. And the preparation scenes beforehand. I'll see about sending something back tonight
It's about a thirty-year old guy who attends his grandfathers funeral, only to find out that his grandfather had a six-year old daughter that the family didn't know about. The child's mother had absconded, and the rest of the family want nothing to do with her, so he takes her in
