  • Exactly! And that's why I'm looking forward to going to uni here, because I won't have to put up with any of the junk I don't enjoy (like maths).
Ahh, things like that make me wanna continue!

Hey, don't worry, I'm still gonna be around for some time yet. I'll be sure to still post one shots too. And I'll make them 10x the quality of any one shot I've posted before to make up for the lack of series.

Anyway, if I get my novel published then I'll be your biggest rival yet =P
No, don't stress yourself out thinking about when to cut loose.

You'll know it's time to stop. Trust me, it becomes painfully obvious.

Just enjoy the period of your life where you have the time to devote to these things and don't ruin it by worrying about when it's going to end.

    You're fine.
    That's right.

It's just not a sensible way to use my time now that I have so precious little.
Tbh, I'm kind of bored with Dragon Days.

I'm a few chapters ahead now in Maturity.

Have you seen my latest blog post? That basically sums up how I'm feeling about writing fanfiction at the moment.
    Thanks =)

I wish you the best of luck with it.

Have you written the last chapter of Dragon's Roar yet?
    Yeah, I would say so.

I presume the story is going to start with Reggie doing something. (Even if that is after the prologue)

All you need to do is write the thing normally, without going out of your way to mention Chigon and then, when Chigon is naturally mentioned:

    ----------
Reggie looked to his faithful partner, Chigon.

    'You ready, boy?'

The small white Pokemon barked in response. Chigon was not a normal Pokemon. In fact, his own one was the only one that Reggie had ever seen or heard of. He had first met Chigon during his first year at Pokemon Academy when...
    ----------
I don't know the ins and outs of Dragon's Roar so some of tha tmight be inaccurate but you get the jist.
Oh, that's easy to get around.

Just write it as if the first one doesn't exist as a pre-existing story.

In other words, when Reggie, Chigon or any of the other characters are first introduced in MoD make sure to explain their backstory and where they come from.

Also, make sure that whenever you mention MoD you say "You don't need to have read teh first one to understand it"
Well, how related are the two fics?

I presume they both centre around Reggie but are the main events and characters also transferred?

Is it kinda like a Harry Potter book?
It's best to think of a direct sequel as part of the same story in my opinion.

Provide a link to Dragon's Roar in the first post and hope for the best.

That's all you can do really.
