Oh, I see. I have a couple of friends who are looking to go down that career path, too. Personally, I plan to study anthropology, linguistics and English lit.
I've been able to read the first chapter, but I'm leaving my cousin's house now. I might be back tomorrow so I could be able to read it then, otherwise I won't be home until Friday. Tag me in all the other chapters you post so that I can keep up with it. Sorry again that it's taking so long to catch up with your other fic, but I'm getting there
Yeah, basically. It's obviously not as much of an exercise as actual exercise but I'm sure you see what I mean.
14 even more so - at age 14, your body is still developing. Since he's not getting the nutrition or real exercise that he needs, it's only natural that he (and Eiji) will grow up to be very skinny. I mean, the time when he got ill says it all about that really.
It doesn't apply to Takagi so much since he is a writer not an artist and there's less of a strain on him. I mean, I know he does have to work hard but compared to mangakas who do art (with or without the writing) I think he has quite an easy ride. Personally, I think, even if I were a good enough artist to be a professional, I would find it very difficult to keep up with what is expected of an art mangaka but I think I would find it quite easy to keep up with what is expected of a writing mangaka. In fact, writing manga is one of the few professions where Japan seems to actually not be as hard on its workers as the West.
Yes, Mashiro has certainly had a bit of a redesign as he's gotten a bit older but then I suppose that's natural in a way, isn't it?
Particularly since both of them have been spending almost all of their waking hours drawing manga since they were 16 or so, I suppose it makes sense that they've gotten thinner since they probably aren't exactly healthy.
I don't know if you draw much but I do from time to time and I can tell you this - it may sound stupid but spending the whole day drawing something high quality (or HQ for you, at least) is really tiring. And I don't even mean tiring as in it wears you out and makes you tired, I mean it can literally make you feel like you've been for a run!
*checks* Actually, it says GIRATINA created it. And when did I say they did? I'm suggesting they're also representing the three worlds, not creating them: Zekrom and Reshiram came about only a few centuries back.
Nooo, I don't recall anywhere it says it was created specifically for the purpose of holding Giratina, only that the Ghost Dragon was banished there...
It depends on how long it is at the minute; I'm on holiday and can only get on the internet because I'm at my cousin's house. I'll try and read it quickly now; you'll know I've been successful if I post a review within the next hour; otherwise remind me again on Saturday :L
Mmmm, the thing is though, even though the male characters tend to wear the same thing - the thing they wear is an outfit that is realistic for someone their age and personality whereas Naruto, One Piece and the like feature outfits that don't really exist/aren't commonly worn.
