  • Yeah, you're right.

Doesn't matter for me anyway, the only manga I read is Bakuman and Liar Game and Liar Game seems to be on permanent hiatus now.

I used to read a few other ones (not the mainstream though) but I'm too busy nowadays I don't have time.

Speaking of which, I've gotta go. It was nice chatting to you though.
Yeah, I tried to catch up with One Piece once but it just didn't work.

Also, in the part that I got up to there was this retarded clown as the main bad guy and then I looked at the new issue several hundred chapters later and that same retarded clown was battling Luffy and I was put off by the thought of that retarded clown remaining in One Piece consistently for several hundred chapters. I was later informed that it was complete coincidence and he was only in the part I was reading and the part that was newest at the time =P
Yeah, exactly, so realistically an anime company wouldn't want to put something on if it would lose most of its demographic at the time it was on. See what I mean?

The thing about One Piece is the author published the map of the islands they were going through and after about 10 years or however long it's already been they were nearly half way through and then they just recently had some stupid arc where they've been set back by 2 years worth of progress PLUS when they finally reach the thing they're aiming for (the pirate king thing) that'll probably start up a whole new arc. In other words, One Piece has got at least 12 years left in it, so don't expect that to end any time soon. As for Bleach I have no idea but apparently the author/artist has gotten lazy recently (or is that Naruto?)

I don't actually read any of these but my friends do and they tell me what's going on all the time.
I had a feeling the copycat artist might be real but I didn't know for sure.

And, yes, I think that could be a reason that they wouldn't get an anime. It might be deemed too inappropriate to be shown during the day time but since their demographic is mainly children no one would want to pay to put it on at night so they face a problem.

Well, you are right and, anyway, protagonists in manga can rarely get any older than their late 20s but how old were they when they started? It's been like 6 years, hasn't it? They could probably do the same again, bringing it up to nearly 300 issues in total.

Basically, Bakuman has much more longevity than Death Note ever did. I think DN was on a decline from the moment L died people were wondering when it was going to be over. They asked to finish at 108 but, as you said, they probably had to drag it out to that long rather than cutting it there. I think with Bakuman the author wanted something with a lot more life in it. Although it is his style that his stories have definite ends so even Bakuman couldn't last forever (unlike things like One Piece which seems immortal)
Yeah, but natural animals tend to not have colouring based on their element, otherwise fish would be blue constantly =P

    Let's just say it's a reference, k? I like it more like that =L
It was a joke, man |3

Smart, useful against the opponent and a funny quiet reference to FireRed and LeafGreen :L
    Fair enough =P
At least I'm giving someone a brain. A.D has my heart, thus I need to give someone courage and send another home...
I think the real reason is to extend Bakuman.

Once Mashiro and Takagi get an anime, Bakuman will be on its last legs. The author may try to continue it but I think everyone will be expecting it to end so it will sharply decline in popularity and get cancelled.

I think, also, after Death Note, the author wanted to write a manga that could go on forever. As mangas go, Death Note ended very early because it was extremely plot drive and, due to the nature of the plot, could only go on so long. I think the author's aim with Bakuman was to write something that could potentially go on infinitely, like the majority of mangas written in Jump can.
Not quite ahead of them but you're right, he is becoming a serious rival again.

It seems like a shout back to the old days when it was just the four of them and it was always:

    1) Eiji
    2) Ashirogi Muto
    3) Fukuda
Somewhat like me, again |3 Thus, not as much of a fan as I am of Reggie. (Fun Fact: I'm not a fan of myself :L)
Oh, the frequency is the frequency the universe vibrates (it's an actual thing, everything's vibrating irl, we're just moving with it. You also need to be vibrating at that frequency to remain in the Universe). Things from the Travelsverse vibrate at a Frequency of 71241731, thus if it got into the Advanceverse somehow, without being altered to vibrate at 41517471723uf by a Palkia, then it would be destroyed.
Don't worry, you put it in a spoiler so it was no one's fault but my own.

I just read the chapter and it was AWESOME.

Eiji is so fucking cool, don't you think?
Yeah, but I'm iffy about Double Posts.

And the Multiverse is...well, here's the quip:
Unlike most other universes, which limit themselves to the single planet, the Travelsverse is actually part of a much larger Multiverse. Each of the universes are within themselves: they each work independently, but are able to or their inhabitants can interact under the right circumstances. The Multiverse, however, is not time-related like the DC Multiverse, and changes to how things work are unrelated to decisions made by the inhabitants of the universe, that’s what timelines are for. Each Universe has a frequency of which is indicative of the distance from the original universe, though this really doesn't have much of an effect and is really just a way to stop constant jumping between them.
    Hey Flaze, two questions:
    1) Would you mind the Advanceverse being mentioned in the Multiverse the Travels and Rivalsverse is apart of? (It'll be Universe Frequency 41517423, if you don't mind...)
    2) Could you post in the Travelsverse BotB? I don't care if you read it or not, I just don't wanna double post...
Yeah and it's often difficult to plan them well.

Even the second episode of Futurama was one of the most boring they've ever done.

I don't know what possessed me to look at that spoiler before reading the chapter but I did. I'm a buffoon.
Thank you, but I still have a lot to do. I will try to read it eventually, but my list is really long, so it could be a while.
I suppose you're right. Although he is a hero in many ways. I'm really tired now though so I'll explain why I think so tomorrow instead.

That's great. Second chapters are invariably the worst of any fic. I don't know of any fic off the top of my head where I enjoyed the second chapter and I can think of a few where the second was a big disappointment so big congrats!
