Um, it's called Death Note for a reason, and if you don't like that genre, stay away from it instead of hating on it xD And, yeah, he is. And he's awesome for it. I don't want him to die. He's too awesome. How long you been reading/watching, btw?
I suppose. 22 is still quite young to get married though. The problem is more that they refuse to see each other. I think they will actually end up seeing each other a couple more times soon.
If Bakuman was reality, of course, I think one of them would end up getting another boy/girlfriend because they never talk to each other and the only thing they have sort of in common is that they have vaguely similar dreams that kind of match up. Over the course of like 6 years or however long it has been, I don't feel like the ridiculous promise and commitment they made back then would really hold fast. Of course, I think they probably will end up together.
Here's a question for you - do you think Bakuman will end once T&M get an anime?
If they win, they will have succeeded and then they won't have as much to aim for except getting an anime which is probably miles away. Eiji will try extra hard but he will still be writing Crow.
If they lose, Eiji will come up with some fantastic end to Crow and he'll come up with an incredibly awesome new series. Also Takagi and Mashiro will have to try and beat Eiji in his new series, which will still be interesting.
If you know you have to give up on one, giving up on the one that seems the least appreciated is the least selfish thing to do. That means less people will be disappointed by its cancellation. That sounds like an extremely un-selfish way to decide really.
Yeah, I guess what with it being so common everyone wants to give a "new spin" to it.
You know what surprises me though, that Kyuujux's Barefoot Fighting Genius didn't get nominated for Best Backstory Fic even though loads of people nominated it for Best Long Story and nominated a bunch of the characters for stuff too. I haven't read it myself but that just seemed strange to me...
