  • Yeah that part but aside from that it's pretty easy and once you get the hang of it it becomes easier. You can also do the opposite like putting a mainstream character in a non-mainstream story. Though the thing Mashiro and Takagi this is perfect because this way they can slowly but surely turn their manga into main stream the genre that they have so much trouble with.
Actually it's the second considering the competition they had in Akamaru back when they started out.

And Eiji's....I don't know what the hell it is.

Also I noticed it isn't so hard to do a mainstream story with a non mainstream main character.
He had it way before he found the Death Note though I pretty much define him as asexual.

I still wonder if they'll be able to beat Eiji's though frankly I like theirs a little more than Eiji's
That and the character designs and color scheme the color for Leleuch was black and Suzaku's was white.

Well actually in Death Note it wasn' as much the girl being brainwashed as much as she already being crazy since the beginning.

Who knows maybe that's what they were going for the authors I mean.
Pretty much aside for the fact that there is no note. However while it is a lot liek Deathnote I also find a lot of similarities with Code Geass, the main character has the same ability as Leleuch's Geass and the designs are alike not just that but aside from the fact that the rival has powers that counter his the basics for him are the same as Suzaku.
Well basic summary the chapter is about both Eiji and Ashirogi Muto it focuses on their plans for their new stories as well as the character designs it also focuses on how much Mashiro and Takagi have grown since they started out.
I have dyspraxia and suspected Asperger's (It's both a blessing and a sin that I live in a city where the world's top autism specialist works...because while there's skill here, there's huge waiting lists xD).

So they're more emotionally grim than physically grim? Sounds like the thing I'd like - when you get back, or whenever, if you'd be willing to send me on your short stories to read and the links, that would be pretty cool, thanks.

Yeah I know what you mean about fiction being based on personal experience. For example, in my novel there's a character who has to deal with a massive loss on a day to day basis; I wouldn't have been able to write her character at all if not for a sudden family death around the time I started writing seriously.
    Heya, I'm fine thanks, you?

As for university...well, I started a course to study Psychology last September, but the Special Educational Needs department were so dire I ended up dropping out after a month xD

With short stories...well, I remember Waterstones' Books Quarterly magazine had a competition that I was planning on entering, but as I based my short story on my own personal experiences, my older brother decided that it wasn't fiction so I didn't. I'm not too well aware of what literary magazines people buy and which accept submissions etc. (Are yours on a similar scale to Edgar Allen Poe, or worse? xD).
