  • Yeah, but alas, his choice, even if it costs a couple of readers. Anyway, I noe have another RP to adapt to the Travelsverse -_-;
    No, I mean I've only read like, 2 chapters how many do I need to catch up on? =P

    And oh well, I'm not gonna bother. I hate plot changes, the writing's great but as I said, plot changes annoy the hell outta me. Tis why I've got the Travelsverse plotted out for about 50 years =P
    I put an update at the end of the first post making note of that.

    Yeah. I know the feeling. I shouldn't be posting so much either.
    Good point, though I hope The Other Side of Earth gets good responses too, I noticed that while there are a lot of journey fics focused on the game characters or rival or pseudo rivals there aren't any fics that focuses on what could've happened after the games.
    Thanks, though by views I'm still fifth but I'm getting there eventually, now my biggest competition would be Son of Earth which is a hard competition to go against
    Fine, just not amused by An Unlikely Heroine changing it's stuff. I hate it when someone changes the plot after the first few chapters, not to mention I liked Red Ash and Mary Leaf's awkward relationship. Seriously, it's what writing another story is for...

    *Note: the first reason the main one, I hate changing chapters. The only times I do it is to correct a mistake pointed out or I've noticed, just to not confuse the readers, not screw with the plot.

    Anyway, I've noticed Dragon Days is updating every Monday, how many chapters have you done?
    Yeah, I had. I was getting dissatisfied with the constant sexual tension between Red and Leaf. Realism demanded it should exist, but I didn't like where it was taking the story. I prefer the idea that they'd be siblings, too--I'm not sure how many stories have explored that notion or not. But since Leaf and Red weren't meant to co-exist in a game, they look exactly alike: which makes them perfect candidates for being twins. I find the family dynamics might be more compelling than yet another generic love triangle.

    So yes, I had to change their names--because they can't well share the same last name and still have Leaf refer to herself as Leaf in the narrative. So now she's Ashley, and it amuses me to have her friends call her "Ash." I've also edited the pre-existing chapters to try and remove any sexual tension between Red and Leaf, because it's no longer relevant.
    I don't have too much experience with them either - but the readers and writers at PokéCommunity are much more serious about their craft than we are here at Bulbagarden, I can tell you that much.

    Serebii, on the other hand, is pretty much a toss-up with Bulbagarden.
    Hello. I remember you quite enjoyed "An Unlikely Heroine" when I first started it several months ago. I've posted a tardy update just recently, and have a plot-related question for my audience that I'm hoping to have answered before I finish the next update. I thought I'd shoot you a head's up.
    Yeah I'm only playing it every few days. At the minute Explorers of Sky is what I'm playing most.

    Ever tried a monotype? They're brilliant as well, but oh so difficult.
