  • By the way, I added New Alcatraz to the Rogues Gallery homepage. Let me know if you think anything needs to be added or changed.
As far as retiring Sakak, I imagine him being imprisoned once more by Magnumind, then Magnumind having the totem placed inside New Alcatraz for added security (that's what I would do, at least - putting it back inside the Museum seems ill-thought-out).

As to your new villain, a corrupt corporate executive just BEGS Prowler to return... ;-)
Well, there is currently an Unlockable for an NPC Sidekick, but obviously that is very much distinct from what you're inquiring about. As long as it stays distinct (i.e. "mooks" are treated more as plot devices than specialized, powerful, and versatile characters), I'm perfectly fine with them.

    Hope that makes sense.

Also, you could temporarily retire Sakak if you wish to create a new character (I would keep him in the character listing, crossing out his name and giving a brief explanation, much like what I'm currently doing with Prowler). As long as he isn't brought back out of retirement until you have room for another Active Character, it wouldn't be a problem.
Also, the first Unlockable I've set my sights on is "Cameo" - if I can pull that one off, Prowler is likely to start showing up more often across the board.
Yes, this is also possible - Prowler doesn't play well with others, but as you saw in our RP, he does have an appreciation (albeit a twisted one) for justice, so he might be persuaded to help apprehend another villain, though it would be up to the Hero to stop him from killing the Villain.
    I don't know, I was sorta content to leave it a cliff-hanger ;-)

After all, I think it's pretty clear that these two will be facing off again someday for a proper climax... What do you think?
Universal, I figured it would sort of be a collaborative effort by various world-governments; after all, building such a facility more than once would be impractically expensive.
Yeah, I can understand that. Honestly, it caught me off guard a little because I wasn't thinking that way. I was thinking of it as an origin story, so the whole "We've done this a thousand times before" thought didn't really cross my mind. :XD2:
Giving half-points would be very confusing and really screw with the Unlockables and Winning-Streaks, so I just counted it as a double-victory - we both received one point.
Glad we're on the same page (and I can finally declare our RP "finished" :-D )

On a side-note, though Fate couldn't have known it, if he had chosen to save Sasha, Prowler would not have killed her. I had thrown that idea around briefly, but I drafted this final encounter concept about a week ago, and had already decided that Prowler would honor his end of the deal.

Now... what about naming that Supervillain Containment Facility?
And by "Hollow Victory" I mean a new term I've been considering adding to the Rogues Gallery ruleset for stalemates. Should have been more clear.
I apologize, I was frustrated. The trouble is, Prowler only lightly pressed Fate's buttons because he fully expected his very existence to be the greatest insult-to-injury - this all could have been avoided if Malcolm Pryce had been apprehended sooner. He didn't drive home any digs against Jarrett's dead family because, when he tested the waters, Jarrett acted like he hadn't really heard him (I'll be honest, that was the post that shocked me the most - I fully expected a hint of emotional reaction. When it wasn't there, Prowler dropped it). Prowler was never out to surprise Jarrett or catch him off guard, he wanted to prove a point. He wanted Jarrett to understand Prowler's own personal mantra: The end justifies the means.

To that end, I feel like Prowler might have scraped out a "Hollow Victory" of sorts. After all, Fate did kill him, something he told Prowler previously he wouldn't do, because in the particular context, it was necessary.
