  • I won't be long... hopefully. Maybe just a few hours. But, if you don't want to wait, you can just get some rest and I'll see you in the morning ;)

    Rick smirked.

"That's right. I think you just want to believe I'm lying because you have something against me."
"Ah, don't worry about me, I'm an excellent liar..." Rick thought about it right after he said it and decided that wasn't he best thing to tell her.
    How did you..?

"Well, something tells me that it would've been worth it..." Rick leaned against the counter, looking out the window.
    Ah, okay ^__^

"I didn't," Rick said, setting the bowl back in the cupboard. "You did. I tried to get you to eat something, but you wouldn't wake up..." He sighed. You don't know how close I was to calling the ambulence again.
    Oh boy...

Rick yawned and picked up Lola's empty bowl from the table. He ran it under some warm water and started to wash it. He didn't mind doing such menial tasks. He found it gave him time to think.
Rick looked at her curiously. She must still not be over Jake just yet. He sighed and looked at Lola.

"I don't know how you do it," he said, resting his head on his hand.
Rick smiled back just as playfully as Tiffany did.

"Yep... I almost had to fight off her ex-boyfriend for her, though."
