  • Rick's heart sank as he stared at Tiffany. He didn't know how to say no to her. It never once crossed his mind that she was on to his secret.

"I'll... um... have to call my mom..." His voice trailed off.
Rick looked at her timidly. He hated it when Tiffany was angry, and it was clear that she was.

"Of... of course I am," he said, trying to sound cheery as he tried to catch up with the two of them.
At first, Rick's heart sank in fear when he realized that now she'd be even more angry if she found out, but he signed in relief when he realized she had the wrong idea.

"Hey..." Rick said, brushing her cheek with his thumb. "I'm yours whether you like it or not..."
Rick was getting desperate. He didn't like lying to Tiffany, but he couldn't let her find out, and she could always manage to get it out of him somehow. He went with his last resort and hoped his charm could keep her from wondering. He lightly grabbed her shoulders and looked into her eyes with a bright smile.

"I would tell you if something was wrong... I couldn't lie to those eyes..."
Rick went from rubbing his neck to scratching his knuckles, another nervous habit.

"W-why don't you believe me? Nothing's wrong... I thought we were going to the park..."
    Rick nervously rubbed his neck.

"W-well... She's really protective... I just wanted her to know just in case she needed to come find me or something..."
*gulps* Okay, I won't hug you anymore ;____; (don't kill me...)

    I will, don't worry ^__^ I will ;D

"Yeah, what's up?" Rick asked, looked at Tiffany curiously.
Er... yeah, we do... Yay! I get to live! Um... I could probably RP for a bit ^-^ I just hope it doesn't cut out completely
(*grabs your leg* I'm so, so, so sorry *kisses the ground at your feet* I promise it won't ever happen again... I'm back home so my grandpa can't kick me off the computer anymore ^___^ *prepares for a beating*

Oh, and by the way... I might not be able to get on when you wake up... I'm using a really slow internet connection so I might not be able to talk until you get back from school ;_____;)
"You can do it," Rick said with a wink.

(Alright *hugs* Feel better, okay? I'll try to be here when you come back...)
    Rick smiled at them.

"I bet she's gonna have a blast." He looked around for a brief moment before turning back to Tiffany.

"Can you excuse me for just a sec? It won't be long. I just have to let my mom know where I'll be..." He smiled again, this time to reassure Tiffany, and jogged out of earshot. He pulled out his cellphone and dialed in a number. A sleepy sounding voice answered on the other line.

"Hey," Rick began, periodically looking behind him to make sure Tiffany wasn't coming, "listen, we're not gonna pull the job just yet. Tell the guys to come over my place at around eight. And bring the equipment. Thanks."

After an equally sleepy response from the guy on the other end, he quickly closed his phone and jogged back up to Tiffany and Lola.

"Are you two lovely ladies ready?"
Rick hesitated. He knew this was his big chance to go and get the tiara, but he wanted to spend time with Tiffany and maybe even Lola. He once again rubbed his neck akwardly in thought. He smiled when he finally made his decision.

"I'd love to come with you two."
"Great," Rick said, kissing her lightly on the cheek, taking special care not to bump her knee, "then it's a date." He wrung out the towel in the sink and rinsed it off. There was quite a bit of blood on it and he was worried, though he didn't want Tiffany to know.
(Oh yeah, we're soooo lucky... XP *pokes*)

Rick pressed the cool towel against Tiffany's leg.

"Alright, alright, I take it back... Just don't strain yourself." He looked up at her and smiled.

"Would you go to the school dance with me?"
    (I'm sure it does ;___;...)

Rick smiled a bit at Tiffany, still mindlessly tending to her wound. He loved the mood, and tried to stop himself, but he couldn't help but crack a joke.

"I'm sure Jake would love to take you."
