  • Cheers Gible. Hopefully you have not lined up Scott to jump out of a cake nearly naked.
When I feel so excited to write something down, that's a part asking to be written.

Then, I work backwards explaining how the characters got to that point
I do think eventually they decided at some point to try and give eps to most legendaries, while originally they only wanted them in movies.

Technically Mew has never been in a regular episode either, but whatever. It had two appearance and that was enough.
You are right, of all the pre DP legends, up to that point only the Latios/Latias and Jirachi never appeared in a regular episode.

So now its just Jirachi, who doesn't seem like he would ever appear in an ep.
Yeah, the Dawn special looks the worse of the two. They're going all-out with the Brock one, I also wonder what the Rhyperior Vs. Latias battle is from in the Brock ep.
To be honest I don't care either way. The Dawn special is looking very meh from the pics so far. Just Dawn talks to Prof. Rowan about what to do next, gets some random fangirl or something and they likely get attacked by wild Pokemon, then Cynda evolves...that's the gist of it.

Not sure why Rowan is in this, since when did Dawn ever talk to him for advice outside the first episode?
I'm not as entertained either, but I think it's tolerable. Ash being the only starring character can be tedious, and him catching the 3 starters allows for less predictable Pokemon.

I think Oshawott and Snivy will be getting story lines, at least. Possibly Zuruggu, too. The battles, yes, could be better. The first gym battle was done quite well, but the Shooty and Aloe battles were rushed (well, the second Aloe battle was okay). Dento is hilarious and was unexpected after Brock.

I know it's been said many times before, but I think if we give it more time the show will improve.
I only watch the anime now. I used to play the games, but we sold my games and hand-held game systems. At my school, anime/manga is considered lame. :p
Gliscor entertained me in some episodes, but I can see where you're coming from. I'm glad that it showed signs of maturity by not crying when it went with the air master, though. I do remember Brock helping Nurse Joy at the Pokemon Center a few times (one from the Lyra/Khoury arc where Ash and Khoury attempted to capture a Gible, and the episode after the Lake Acuity battle with Paul).

I use it as an emotional outlet. It's a great way of venting.

By the way, when did you get into Pokemon?
