At the same time you have to remember that the worst someone else could do is disagree with you. And if they do, leave it be.
I thought Gliscor was alright, but Togekiss being introduced so late didn't sit right with me. I loved its moveset, but it wasn't like we were going to be seeing much of it anyway. I wish Brock would've shown his medical skills more throughout DP (there was the sick Pachirisu episode but that's the only one I remember).
I agree with all of that.
I like writing songs but haven't done so in a long time. It's not like I have the music to back it up with anyway.
Oh no, I will. Just not right now, I'm getting too sleepy.
(If I was bilingual I'd post something similar to what you said in a different language.) ^_^
I'm glad you're not afraid to express your opinion. It can be risky sometimes (especially online).
I got the series on DVD for Christmas and got addicted. It had great continuity and all the main characters got a fair amount of screen time. What irked you about DP? I agree though, it wasn't perfect by any means.
I'm debating whether or not I should take creative writing senior year. I don't know if I could handle deadlines very well. I'll read your story sometime!
That makes total sense. I don't necessarily try to analyze the characters' actions, but I do try to find the elements of each episode that make them likable.
I think Avatar: The Last Airbender shows that perfectly (if you haven't seen it, you should!). It contained several mature themes without being inappropriate for children. DP definitely took a step up in that aspect with Hunter J and Team Galactic.
Do you like writing formally or informally (or both)?
What's your first language? I couldn't read novel after novel either, I have to set my own pace. The reason I said that though was because you're very analytical about the anime.
I'm terrible at chemistry! I feel like I could be doing so much better if I applied myself more, but again - lack of motivation (that's a recurring problem this year). I liked biology, though.
From the way you post, you seem like an English major (I guess that goes with history as math does with science, though).
Well the DP dub ends in late Feburary, around the time the specials air, and around the time we see the TR/Giovanni ep with the meteorite.
I guess its the "old characters" that I feel I have to see their endings, simply because I've watched them for so long. Even if Brock was beyond stale in DP, I still feel I need to see his final episode.
It's hard to explain. I know why it's important and that studying it will benefit me later in life, but I can't bring myself to care. Lack of motivation I guess is what it is. I applaud you for studying it, though, I know I couldn't do it.
The battle itself was fine. I notice you examine battles different than anyone else. Just because some new super strategy isn't pulled doesn't make a battle bad.
Also if you ever get bored of BW, why not just watch the important eps and tune in and out? Granted almost every ep has had something of importance so far.
Also, look at this old thread where Dawn captured Buizel:
I love the speculation and anger over people suggesting the Aipom/Buizel trade, and the Misty lure with people thinking it was foreshadowing Misty in DP.
Gotta love reading those old review threads from "in the moment." :D
