We only saw her lose once on-screen, (Nando win off-screen), and everyone listened to everything she said. She was always viewed, "right" about everything, with Dawn hanging off her every word and Ash listening to her about Aipom as well.
She also wins the entire Grand Festival. There were almost no flaws in her character, everyone viewed her as some great character, and she wins an entire tournament.
Oh well, at least we got to see May beat Zoey. If we're going to have Zoey defeated, at least May was the one to do it.
I'm surprised Scott isn't complaining about Best Wishes yet well he was but not as much as he did in Diamond and Pearl. Then again it's only been 6 episodes so I guess we'll have to wait and see
I'm just curious seeing how you felt most of May's wins were DEM, I want to know how you felt when Dawn beat her, which was totally fair, I'm just curious? Also, how's school?
Trust me, I am. But why do I have a feeling you may not like the new series. After all, your precious land shark is gone forever!!! Seriously, tho, Misty had enough screentime to have so many fans love her. You are so stuck on DP, you've forgotten what being human is about, Seto Kaiba.
You taught me well, but then again, Ash was whack back then, and Misty did have more experience and was the better trainer, so don't hate me for telling the truth!
I just remembered! We were going to do a catalog for the fanfics, by their expected categories I believe. We'll start working on it when these awards are over... Do you think it might help?
Interesting points about Pikachu. But honestly, the anime tends to fuck up Ash's "lesser" pokemon's power levels anyway. Whereas, say side charcters like Barry, Paul, or Gary clearly have their strongest Pokemon ( Empoleon, Eletivire/Torterra, and Blastoise.) The likes of Infernape, and Sceptile IMO, are clearly two of Ash's more power Pokemon. The anime seems to try to elude to the little kiddies the fact that Pikachu, at the end of each series is Ash's srongest Pokemon. Lol, I don't think they expect 20+ year olds to overanalyze the win/loss ratio for it's strength.
You have Pikachu getting the shit beat out of by Flints Infernape, and surviving quite a while. Whereas Infernape get's oneshotted. The you have an injured Pikachu getting beat by Paul's Electivire, and argubaly an even more injured Infernape activating Blaze, and destorying it. I love Infernape, and dislike Pikachu btw.
