But in the more contemporary and widely known sense, it means an anime/manga/japanese culture geek. Can be used negatively or endearingly depending on the situation XD
porn You know those parody openings that show up all the time on youtube? Where do you think they come from? English speaking users? LOL don't make me laugh. That's mainly what I use it for. Pokemon has quite a few of them. They also usually post character songs and covers and stuff. Basic otaku stuff.
