  • I'm still not entirely happy with the banner to be honest. It feels like it's missing something.

Kiara and Robbin still have Ember. At the very least you should replace that with Flamethrower, though i still advise Wild Charge and Dig for Bomyne. I agree with you about Dig but it is a solid ground move and the idea is that it helps counter Bomyne's weaknesses, as well as provide leverage against electric types.

Personally, i've always considered the Normal type to be the second worst move type (after poison). With the fairy type in Gen 6, Normal falls to the Worst type on my list. I mean, Normal is never super effective*, but can be ineffective or even unable to attack (ghost). Even moves like Swift have elemental versions.

Normal type POKEMON is a different story though :p The normal type has an immunity (ghost), although it has no resistances, it makes up for that with only one weakness. (fire has 3 weaknesses). And normal/Flying pokemon have two immunities and 3 weaknesses with two resistances. Some of them are also kinda cute.

    * = Normal is super effective against rock and steel in inverse battles. But i hate those :p
Extremespeed isn't one I'd normally recommend due to it being the normal type, which makes it virtually useless in type match ups. The normal type is resisted by a few types, and even one type (Ghost) is immune, but it has an advantage over nothing. Which is why I normally avoid the normal type.

I agree with you in keeping at least one fire type move on everyone... Come on, what's the point in a fire team if it can't make the enemy BURN?! :p BUT the more element types you cover, the better able you will be to deal with anything an enemy throws at you. And Wild Charge can counter your team's major weakness. At least in my opinion.

Monferno and it's evolved form can also learn Thunder Punch via move tutor that can help offset said weakness.

Unfortunately, AFAIK, no fire type can learn grass/water moves to counter Fire's weakness to rock and ground types. But Monferno's fighting moves are a good counter for rock.

Make sure you get a PP Max (Via Super Training: Vitamin - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia ) if you do go with Wild Charge, due to obvious reasons :p

TM28 Dig is another good choice for Growlithe Dig is a powerful ground-type move but I love how it's one of two really really useful non-HM field moves, as it works as an unlimited escape rope.

Vulpix also worries me due to three fire attacks on the one pokemon.

Anyway, I'm sure I have a ton more suggestions :p I'll let you know when they come to mind.

Also regarding your favourite pokemon? Personally, I'd say just suck it up and beat it down. :p I don't like facing Growlithe and Arcanine in battle but a lot of enemies (Especially police enemies in Gen IV) use Growlithe, so it's a good idea to learn to be able to tolerate beating your favourites down.
I would suggest lose Roar instead of aerial ace. Flying type moves have an advantage against a few types. True, some of those Fire also has an advantage, but not all.

I enjoy the puzzle mini-game, kinda... But i always take my time doing it and as such, get a bad score!. I love the headbutt one and am starting to get quite good at it :p I can't stand the fruit one though.

At level 43 and via move tutor, Growlithe learns outrage, a Dragon move. I'd say replace flame wheel with outrage.

TM93 Wild Charge is a good alternative to Aerial Ace though. That allows you to counter one of Growlithe's weaknesses AND gives you an advantage over one of the E4! The only drawback being recoil damage

Unfortunately, AFAIK, you need BP in order to get Iron Tail so the only way is to trade it. But as you said, Amie is addictive and fun... I just wish there was more than three games.

I need to give my Arcanine and Ninetales Irontail still... I'm glad I haven't done any Amie yet with them :p
Give your Fletchinder Steel Wing (Transfer it to your main game, give it that move then back again). Most of your team can learn Iron Tail too ( Move Tutor - Bulbapedia, the community-driven Pokémon encyclopedia ).

Steel moves are super effective against Valarie's team.
I had a very easy time against grant, to be honest. Monferno knew a fighting move - i forget which - and it was pretty much a walk in the park. Fletchinder's flying moves downed Korrina, and Arcanine had a good time against Ramos. That's where my team is at the moment.

What do I have? Well, i haven't nicknamed any though.

    31 - Arcanine - Male
    Poke Ball
    Item: None
    Nature: Serious
    Ability: Intimidate
    Bite
    Roar
    Flame Wheel
Leer (why do i still have this move?!)

    37 - Talonflame - Male
    Poke Ball
    Item: None
    Nature: Mild
Ability: Flame Body (this made hatching the new egg very easy)
    Flame Thrower
    Steel Wing
    Razor Wind
    Fly

    27 - Braixen - Male
    Poke Ball
    Item: Everstone
    Nature: Naive
    Ability: Blaze
    Psybeam
    Tail Whip
    Ember
    Flame Charge

    33 - Litleo - Male
    Poke Ball
    Item: None
    Nature: Bold
    Ability: Unnerve
    Tackle (why?!)
    Leer (Why?!)
    Fire Fang
    Headbutt

    34 - Monferno - Male
    Pokeball
    Item: None
    Nature: Adament
    Ability: Blaze
Brick Break (defeated Grant with this)
    Rock Slide
    Flamethrower
    Focus Blast

    30 - Ninetales - Male
    Poke Ball
    Item: None
    Nature: Quirky
    Ability: Flash Fire
    Ember (...)
    Extrasensory
    Feint Attack
    Hex

All four of Ninetales' moves it knew out of the egg :p I do need to replace Ember with a stronger attack though

I haven't done much with this team in a few days i admit as i'm currently working on a cute-pokemon team on Alpha Sapphire. Poochyena, Riolu, Magby (Flamebody) and the other three haven't hatched yet.
Yeah, SO SOO SOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!! :) I just Personally HIGHLY RECOMMEND Birdman, it's an Original Film! :) And Alejandro González Iñárritu did an AMAZING AMAZING Job of Directing the Film!!! :)
Hey Poke Fox! I saw this Pokemon shirt the other day with all the fire foxes. I just wanted to show you in case you liked it! Fox Fire | TeeFury

I would have bought it myself and I love the kitsune mask right in the middle of all the Pokemon, but I bought 2 shirts the day before hahaha.
Not sure what you mean. It's not instant, but Soar can take you to any place fly can... and a few places fly can't. You just have to locate the place yourself. Which i consider to be a fun part of soar :p
Where abouts are you up to in your adventure?

I'm up to Korrina's mega evolution tutorial and keep gettingf clobbered because she cheats and i refuse to digivolve :(
Actor Eddie Redmayne has COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED himself as Stephen Hawking, he gets the Face right and... JUST INCREDIBLE. I know U said U kinda DIN'T Like Bio Pics, but I HIGLEY RECOMMEND IT!!! :)
Although, there have been exceptions with Sci-Fi Films because the one I mentioned before, Gravity was Nominated for 10 Awards Last Year and Won 7/10 the MAJOR Win was Best Director for Alfonso Cuaròn :)
